2024 SKYWAY STREET BEAT REPOP FRAME KIT BUILD

It all started back in1963 in Van Nuys, California, when Skyway's founder, Chuck Raudman started a machine shop for the fast-growing aerospace industry. The growth of the company saw Skyway produce many products for Disneyland and also venture into the motorcycle industry. Then in 1974, focus shifted to the new sport of BMX and the Tuff wheel became reality and cemented Skyway into the BMX annals of history forever!
The 1985 Street Beat was Skyway's first complete BMX freestyle bike and broke new ground in innovation, strength and style. Now, 39 years later, the Street Beat is back with the new 2024 version of the iconic frame kit ready to reintroduce itself as a modern version of the classic original. Featuring Full Chromoly frame, fork, and handlebar with Skyway embossed seat, these kits are ready to add a set of genuine Skyway tuff wheels and make the bike of your dreams!

Bought Skyway F/F/H's in chrome myself.Went with the same colour co-ordination as yourselves. Pink Skyway mags, pink Kenda tyres. Chrome Redline crank, chrome Skyway etched layback seatpost. Odyssey bb, headset, pedals, SF brakes (polished). Profile whippet sprocket, Profile Gen1 stem, Profile Elite freewheel. Pink shadow chain. Pink cable sleeves, Skyway pink grips, Skyway green valve caps. Your bike looks very cool. Not the only person now riding one of these with so much pink. Love your build

I prefer the Skyway T/A by far, but that knurled top tube is genius!

Nice build! If you run the front brake cable on the inside of the fork leg it looks cleaner and no zip tie is required.

I’m assuming they went with 3/8 drop outs so you can run the old school 44T sprocket. I like the idea of going with the larger dropouts though and then go with the 9 tooth Skyways they make now! I built my daughter’s Cult with the larger axle skyways. Looks sick. Great build guys, can’t go wrong with chrome, EVER!

Can you do a video on how to properly install tires on Skyway Tuff magwheels, so as to minimize/eliminate any wobble as they spin? This is hard to to do.

Awesome bike.....me personally, I would have a black chain, different bars (I hate the loop design of those) and a different seatpost... that pink doesn't match the rest of the other pink tones
