As others have stated, Kelvin's been doing a lot of the same tricks for years. There has to be a progression in tricks, not the same ones that got him on podium so many times years ago.

The judges were cheering for Hoban, nothing against this skater… but the video is there to everyone see that a kickflip nosegrind got a 9… and a big clean switch kickflip over the highest spot at the skatepark go 8.8. The problem here is not the switch kickflip but a 9 for a common kickflip+nosegrind

I feel Kelvin's pain. His run was varied, switch, fakie, transition. He deserved a higher score. Hoban shouldn't have been considered the winner. He only does regular stance tricks, kickflips into everything. It's time the judges show the score breakdown. Exactly what are they scoring? Rate each aspect of the trick or run, stop hiding the breakdown.

from SLS perspective, kelvin also consistently does a lot of the same tricks. after watching all the SLS, I can confidently say kelvin is one of the most repetitive skaters I've watched. I understand why the judges dock him sometimes
