Thanks for the video Tony. Would have liked to go, but was too busy.

Great show. Looks like almost everybody in there was over 40yo.

Hold on to your guitars. Maybe sell in 2025 if need to.

Guitar shows don’t have the best deals anymore. I’ve found more deals using local Craigslist

Exactly, it's almost like these people never heard of reverb sold listings that show current actual market values ..

sweet guitars and goodies! wayy yonder above my budget tho! can you imagine the millions of dollars worth of equipment under that roof??

I think everything was priced up about 20-25% above normal value. I think they were tagged for some negotiation. I may be wrong though. I sure couldn't afford much of this - although there was a baritone Reverend that greatly tempted me! Thanks for watching and commenting.

@Tony Lee Glenn It could vary from dealer to dealer. I saw two guitars from different dealers that I lusted over in the $2000 price range (unaffordable for me) that were $300 less than their online price! Of course since I went on Sunday, they may have reduced the price!!!

Hi Tony, thanks for the video of your tour of the Asheville show! Can't believe you've never been! I went on Sunday so I missed some of the guitars that were sold on Saturday. One of my favorites you showed was the beautiful 1954 Les Paul (probably a gold top with the finish removed) @16:08! If I had your money, that would have left the show with me! 😄😉👍Also liked the sonic blue 1964 Strat (reissue) w/rosewood fretboard @19:13! Where did you find the two guys with you (with foreign sounding names), they must not be from "around these here parts"?!?! 😄😆

Ha - yes those were some of my favorite guitars as well. I've known those two guys since I joined "Grandma's Medicine" band back in late 2022. They are good ole boys - even if Jim is from Madison WI and Mike from San Diego. They are excellent players as well. Thanks so much for the cool comment!
