I am starting to like the dark mahogany pearl. I been seeing a ton of 2024 outbacks and crosstreks on the road while I am visiting Indiana and I think i seen every color option now for 24 crosstrek/outback

It looks like the touring xt without the touring logo on the back. Are the digital rearview mirror and CD player available options on any of the lower trim levels?

The Premier XT is the Canadian equivalent to the Touring XT in the USA.

We got the Touring XT in that color. It was the only 24 they had in stock. We didn’t really like the color but now we love it. It’s different than others have. I even love the interior colors.

I love Tysons videos I’m picking up my new premier XT next week in the dark mahogany pearl or as I call it “aubergine” for americans the Premier XT in Canada is the Canadiansized Touring XT We don’t have a lot of 2024s on the road yet here and I’ve been waiting 5 months!! Tysons videos have been great as I know all about the car now thank you!

I am happy that Subaru is making great color choices for their cars, this color on this video is very nice, I also love the Autumn Green Metallic but my first choice is a bright blue. Mazda and others can learn from Subaru and give more color choices, do we really need 9 white cars out of 10 at a intersection.

I surprisingly located a Premier XT magnetite grey with black interior (my preference) on a lot near where I live in Ontario. I really preferred the overall look of the wilderness but the extra features on the premier are what I prefer and I am not doing the kind of off-roading that a wilderness is built for. I should be picking mine up in a day or two.

No. It defaults to the "on" position every time the ignition is Cycled - blame the government epa for that one. Luckily, the button is like 5 inches from the shifter on the home screen. You can buy something like an "auto stop eliminator" to keep it turned off permanently, though.

I always use AVH on my Nissan Rogue. On the Outback, I notice you have to go "into" the screen to toggle it ON. Once toggled on, will it stay defaulted to ON after the car is turned off?

Would love to purchase an Outback- currently in a '17 Highlander Platinum- but I require the panoramic moonroof. Why won't Subaru put this on the Outback? Not a fan of the Ascent, which does offer this; really disappointed each year when I see Subaru leaves this off. Beautiful color on this one!

I couldn't tell you why they don't - it could have to do with the structural integrity of the roof in the event of a roll over, which is my guess.

@@bardamu9662 why would you expect an additional upgrade from the 2023 refresh/facelift year when Subaru doesn't typically do that sort of thing?

@@TysonTheSubaruSpecialist I have a 2022 Subaru outback XT Premier and getting the 360 view camera for 2024 models would have been a reasonable timeline, especially when this feature is available for the 2023 Ascent and Solterra models. We may have to wait for 2025 to see a revisited Subaru outback design with an hybrid option.

@bardamu9662 except it wouldn't have been a reasonable timeline based on Subarus typical facelift/redesign timeline. Just because something is available in one model doesn't mean that it's instantaneously added to every model. If it was, the Crosstrek would have gotten a 360° camera before the Outback since it was a full redesign year for the Crosstrek. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that we won't see a hybrid powertrain in the Outback in the redesigned model when it comes out. It's possible, but I don't think it's happening in the next 5 years here in North America.
