Well i think this comparison falls with the WSSP base bikes since that 3 bikes will be all serving some base bikes for supersport class (600 clase) racing... ducati somehow, was able to convince WSSP that their 959cc v2 should be considered a middleweight 😂😂😂 as an honest take with the bike, performance wise? That 959 is a good platform for road/track usage, not too powerfull on top but has a load punch of torque.. But id still pick the Zx6R all day everyday 🔥🔥🔥

18.5k for a midrange bike is insane. Heck the CBR1000RR is 16.5k which leaves you with enough left over for an aftermarket exhaust, levers and a tune.

We can say that but in the real world it really doesn't make sense, I wish ducati still made middleweight l twins tbh, I'd snatch em up if I had the money.. I'm a huge Honda simp but honestly small inline 4s are kind of pointless, more weight, less torque. A bigger capacity twin or triple that makes the same power would weigh less still and have better torque. Man I ain't gonna lie I think ducati should keep making dedicated v twin sport bikes, and the v4 should just be kept for the top of the line stuff. I like Hondas V4s more.

Ehhhh... not new. For the price of a v4 maybe. But then you've spent panigale v4 money and both of your bikes are lame (relatively of course). So who wins? The dealership. I mean they're the same bike anyway. All these japanese 600cc flatplane inline 4 supersports. There'd be no point on wasting money on another one. Just choose one.

I think he is comparing just the best selling super bikes and amazing handling bikes and it makes sense because the V2 doesn’t belong to any other category, Ducati was aiming for the power and handling sweet spot more than trying to compete on power and necessarily fitting into a category like older generations of 900 to 1000cc bikes that we all love, but with all the modern technology and handling

You can’t really compare the V2 to anything. It has its own league. Thats why it’s the perfect bike in every way. It’s well designed and perfectly balanced. Bayliss edition is even better due to its suspension upgrade and with its own dedicated full titanium exhaust that comes with mapping just for this specific bike from Akrapovic… It is the perfect bike.

That zx6r and cbr6rr will always be the best choice on that category.. lots of tuning options, lots of aftermarket parts, easy to work with and proven platforms... That 959v2 on the other hand is a good daily sportsbike...
