Neither reasons mentioned is the reality of the matter !!! In today's world and level of logical thinking withheld, It's about being BIG DICK WILLY!!! AKA:IMAGE OUT LOOK, using properly sized bike to level of skills had is irrelevant, honestly how would the image look in a world were brand/size bike you ride determines your level of respect to be had , lol and what level would that be riding a bike sized to your skill level (zx400 in this example) on a moto gp track amongst other riders on 1 liters of every brand !! 3/4 of those riders are probably on bikes most likely can't use to their full potential as a result of skill level, it's not a skill to ride fast in a straight line !!! But a think it's obvious with seeing the moto gp riding amongst them on same track 😅 but can't lie Mr. D has good taste of bikes aside from the Aprilia, but as long as a smile is made on the face is all that's important, what anybody thinks is irrelevant, be safe my friend.

A slower bike will help you learn to use the whole turn to keep that momentem in entry speed, and you wouldnt be paranoid to going full throttle in the middle of turns. I bet if you got a kaw 400cc or an R6 fully kitted suspension, tuned by a suspension tuner. I think you will have way more fun, instead of babying these exotic bikes in the turns.

The Ducati Orange was Neil Hodgesons color. I had K Tech internals on one of my bikes, they also serviced my Ohlins forks on my race bike. They are spot on.

You were so much better on the BMW. On the Ducati I was thinking you didn't know how to ride at all, but I stand corrected after seeing you on the BMW.
@MrBricey258 ай бұрын
The bmw is as close to a pure track bike you can get, saying it’s not as good as the duc is probably down to your confidence and skill on track and not down to the capability of the bike.Your not riding it like a track bike…hanging on to gears in - grab the fucker by its clip ons and give the dam thing some grief…hustle it bro 😎

this is wrong, bmw are the best STREET BIKES, DUCATI is way better for the track and racing in general
@MadWilli8 ай бұрын
The bmw requires a different technique and you have to be hypersensitive to what the rear is doing due to the disconnected feel. Most people ride with cookie cutter “sluggish”(lack of a better term) technique so they require the bike to due all the work for them, so most wouldn’t know how to exploit it’s true strengths with the right rider inputs.

@@shaukatshah2447 This is just false. Ducati and BMW are #1 and #2 on the World Superbike rankings. D is more comfortable with the Ducati but you can clearly see he doesn't have the same confidence going into the corners when riding the BMW. They are both absolute weapons

I think track days are for learning how to get the most out of your bike and your experience gains. All your doing us going out in a slow group, riding slow and pining it on the straights over taking everyone thinking your doing well and getting false confidence. Fun video though man 🤙

I’m sorry but.. I expected the big dude with the expensive bikes might have been able to ride them without being embarrassing.

Awesome looking track. One of these days I'll be able to run a couple of my bikes on it. At 21:29 you will see plenty of guys doing that. My first thought was that he was running out of tire, but it looked like he was just taking it very easy. That's okay though. My initial thought would be WTF is that too, but I take it as just a slight obstacle one may encounter during a race (practice makes perfect) and that is a positive. Great video man...
