I have the Duke. It’s amazing. Extremely torque rich and the sound it makes is simply lovely with the yoshimura exhaust I put on it. Got it for 8750 cash with 0 miles out the door here in southern California. A deal I could not pass up lol

Both nice bikes, although I like fairings so I'd go with the 8R if I had to choose one. Do you get to test ride all the bikes? I do agree, a bike you can use most of on roads is my kind of bike, like the Ninja 650, which I finally got a 210 miles range on one 4 gallon tank so far, averaging 57 mpg. I could've went to 220 miles before running dry. GSX8R 3.7 gallon tank size I see.

I think the issue is that I didn’t start the bike, I only had it in the ON position on the key. Thanks.

I remember you from Kia Hyundai channel. Nice to find you here! I just got a 8r yesterday. Binge watching its videos before it gets delivered. Waiting on dealer to install the tail tidy kit before delivery.

With the high footpeg position on the Duke, I don't think I would be comfortable after an hour and a half of riding but it would be my choice for shorter rides. I love how KTM does the al la carte pricing for features that are unavailable on the Suzuki for any price. Want cruise? It can be added to the Duke. I rode a Duke 390 at a local demo day and was impressed. If I didn't already have an SMCR, the 790 would be high on my list for an urban machine. So would the Suzuki naked. As consumers we inundated with so many excellent choices.

Do you still reply to comments? I recently left some questions on the trail tracker vs ridge rider pedego bike comparison video but haven't gotten any answers from anyone. Just wanna know if I'm safe taking my soon to arrive trail tracker on rugged trails and an occasional ramp. The pedego employee said it's fine even though it doesn't have a front suspension but a lot of people in online forums seem to disagree.

I don't always get to every comment, but for something like that, it's just tough for me to give a perfect answer. The bikes are tough, and suspension can actually be a weak point on some bikes. They can take a lot of abuse, but for me to answer an online comment like that, it's tough for me to be sure. I don't know how fast you plan to ride, how big the ramp is, how big you are, how skilled you are at landing smoothly everytime. So while I'd be comfortable taking them in certain conditions, it would be hard for me to issue a blanket statement that would be accurate for everyone.

@@PeterLoweOnethanks. I actually ended up going with a different model from them. Probably just gonna avoid the big ramps since this one isn't a fat tire but has a front suspension and is lighter.
