So my wife has her degree in psychology, and apparently it happens to lots of athletes where the brain is trying very hard, or is under pressure. It's a confirmation bias thing, she said they typically tell basketball players to envision the path of the ball in the air hitting the exact spot. From leaving your hand all the way to the spot. So I guess for darts that would mean envisioning the dart flight path from hand to the T20. Love your stuff man, all the best.

I am in no place for advice compared to you, and i know unsolicited advice is usually not warranted, but i cannot help myself and enjoy discussing the mechanics/techniques of darts. the issue you are dealing with - could it be that you are not pulling back far enough on your back swing? you have been playing for years so i am sure you have a set rhythm and feel of when you release the dart. if for whatever you suddenly stop short of your "usual" back swing, it could cause a late release since your body/brain is just going by its "usual" timing. hope this finds you well and isn't to confusing. cheers

Why aren't you playing the Challenge Tour this Weekend in Hildesheim? (I didn't see the Video yet)

The inconsistencies in my game that are lingering from the mechanical issues I faced in January, the poor first weekend in January, plus knowing I'll likely miss the August events... Made this a tough but necessary decision to go to Plan B. I had flights booked, but cancelled late last week.
