Also Jester stated that her mother had to keep her hiden because her existance gould compromise their only source of income and that would cause a lot of problems. For example if they have no money to pay for security then some less savoury individuals may come and try to take a piece of the Ruby of the sea which i imagine might not end in the best way for Jester.

@@AndirHon It's not quite the same. Humans land all over the alignment chart and come from all sorts of backgrounds. The vast majority of goblins will have the same alignment and general backgrounds. Not to mention in world most of the nein probably aren't familiar with goblins or how they generally feel about things. Sure humans can generally justify killing other humans, but for all they know killing another goblin could be devastating.

(Molly screaming about being forcibly conscripted to the front lines, all last episode, with no basis for him to have that knowledge, he's a Tiefling carnival card shark and has bren for the 2 years of memory he has, not only is he an outcast by being a circus act, he's a Tiefling in an empire comprised of mostly human and human-like races i.e. dwarf, elf, gnome, halfling. Also, I didn't like how Taliesin basically forced the group into feeling scared of being pulled into the army.)

also can we talk about Matt's AWESOME storyteller/DM move right there: you can see he glances and catches Travis having an epiphany, and then you can almost see the gears in his mind computing that if the conversation lasts Fjord could ask some questions to Nott leading to too much of a reveal so soon, so he needs to put an end to it, and comes up with the "oh here's a thunderstorm btw" to fast forward to the next scene and avoid more backstory talk! as a beginner DM i am amazed and wish i can reach this level of quick thinking someday (or maybe i read too much into that and Matt just wanted to say there was a storm coming lmao)

I feel like we need to talk more about Yasha's reaction to seeing a cat for the first time. It was absolutely adorable, especially when she was confused by Frumpkin's purring, but also foreshadows somewhat about her past. Cats are pretty common animals, and from what she says in this episode it really feels like she lived in a very isolated rough place and she experiences common things like cats or grass or flowers and is amazed by them. I need more Yasha with a cat content

@@MrBottlecapBill A little mean - by the standard of this show, which features professional actors, Ashley is obviously less comfortable with improv than many of them, however she has found a character by using that to make hers a shy barbarian, which is cute in the way it contrasts. By the standard of the majority of Role Players out there, Ashley remains a brilliantly talented actress (see Last of Us), and when she is capable of giving an amazing and emotional performance. She is just very slowly developing a character. She even has started speaking with an accent specificially for her character, which is a big step for an actress who usually uses her own voice when performing.

Well Vox Machina had 4 people come from "high society" (Percy, Keyleth, and sort of Vex & Vax) so traditional lawful makes sense. Where as Mighty Nein... well... a Trickster Cleric, a Warlock, a Bloodhunter, and a Goblin... even without the 'edgy' backstories they were never gonna be as lawful as Vox Machina lmao

laura does seem to be the last to check her emails of the group. like when everyone had sent matt their character sheets to be put into the new DnD beyond app thing and laura was the only one not to respond and didnt even realize everyone else had done it
