For example if they have no money to pay for security then some less savoury individuals may come and try to take a piece of the Ruby of the sea which i imagine might not end in the best way for Jester.

Not to mention in world most of the nein probably aren't familiar with goblins or how they generally feel about things. Sure humans can generally justify killing other humans, but for all they know killing another goblin could be devastating.

I feel like we need to talk more about Yasha's reaction to seeing a cat for the first time. It was absolutely adorable, especially when she was confused by Frumpkin's purring, but also foreshadows somewhat about her past. Cats are pretty common animals, and from what she says in this episode it really feels like she lived in a very isolated rough place and she experiences common things like cats or grass or flowers and is amazed by them. I need more Yasha with a cat content

(Molly screaming about being forcibly conscripted to the front lines, all last episode, with no basis for him to have that knowledge, he's a Tiefling carnival card shark and has bren for the 2 years of memory he has, not only is he an outcast by being a circus act, he's a Tiefling in an empire comprised of mostly human and human-like races i.e. dwarf, elf, gnome, halfling. Also, I didn't like how Taliesin basically forced the group into feeling scared of being pulled into the army.)

@@MrBottlecapBill A little mean - by the standard of this show, which features professional actors, Ashley is obviously less comfortable with improv than many of them, however she has found a character by using that to make hers a shy barbarian, which is cute in the way it contrasts. By the standard of the majority of Role Players out there, Ashley remains a brilliantly talented actress (see Last of Us), and when she is capable of giving an amazing and emotional performance. She is just very slowly developing a character. She even has started speaking with an accent specificially for her character, which is a big step for an actress who usually uses her own voice when performing.

ajs1031 Grog is life, and only got better as the campaign played out. Travis is one of the best at the table, next to none other than Scanlan himself...(he'll never be anyone but Scanlan to me.)

I don't remember where the conversation is (might have been a panel), but at one point the players were cross-talking about having new characters and Liam piped up, almost teasing Travis (approx): "Now everyone's going to find out you're actually the smartest man in the room." Travis and Taliesin do have some tactical knowledge at least to the sports & gamer level. What I like about Travis is his sense of choosing his timing. Sometimes he could pass that off in Grog as impulsive, and it generally worked. I noticed consistently that Grog started combats in his usual thick manner, but if the battle got rough he would start getting smarter every round until they won. It was one of the party's secret reserve weapons. Marisha often did the same thing with Keyleth, going from "ditzy flower girl" to "expert chess player" when it really mattered.

I often forget that everyone at this table is a voice actor. Well Vox Machina had 4 people come from "high society" (Percy, Keyleth, and sort of Vex & Vax) so traditional lawful makes sense. Where as Mighty Nein... well... a Trickster Cleric, a Warlock, a Bloodhunter, and a Goblin... even without the 'edgy' backstories they were never gonna be as lawful as Vox Machina lmao

Ashleys backstory is a pretty complex story about love and loss and lonelyness Whereas travis' story was basically i was on a ship with 2 dudes and one of them ran off and the other one tried to kill me And then he let matt do the rest of the work. Mollys backstory is basically "i woke up with amnesia..." and then he let matt do all the work. Beau nott jester yasha and caleb are really the ones with well thought out backstories and molly cad and fjords backstories are basically some stuff happened mattmercer pls help
