Just came to Thumbs Up! But our Canadian T.Giving is well behind us...and I am organizing and getting ready for my Nov. 12th commencement of decorating for Christmas! I have a clean slate...just need to do some dusting...then need to go downstairs and unearth my Lemax and friends, Christmas Village... 50 houses, accessories, people, etc... that goes up first as it takes me 3 days! All on one looooooooong custom built mantle in my great room! See you in the next one!

Roast turkey, gravy, Grandma's stuffing, cranberry-pear-orange sauce, mashed potatoes, candied sweet potatoes, mashed yellow turnips, pumpkin pie & apple pie with whipped cream, sometimes we make a pecan pie too, and apple cider. I have a little foil-wrapperd chocolate turkey for each place setting. Every Thanksgiving morning I bake Cranberry-Sage Cookies (Betty Crocker recipe) that we nibble on while watching the Macy's parade . I make a double batch of dough ahead of time, freeze it in logs, and then slice and bake. Happy Thanksgiving to all!

I was doing my list right alone with you. It's only gonna be three of us so the meal is small but mighty. No turkey the kids don't care for it. So we do spiral ham. Pumpkin pie, red velvet cake. The mac and cheese is the start of the show(lol) I am looking forward to the love of cooking over the holiday.

Hey I just wanted to ask… I saw that you got one of those vintage inspired turkey molds but it doesn’t look like you ever decorated for thanksgiving. Did I miss where you put it in your decor or did you just not use it this year? You inspired me to get one so I put mine in my cabinet just after Halloween, trying to give thanksgiving its own time for a few weeks. But I am trying to contain myself with my excitement for Xmas decorating to come! 😃
