@hervvernon89112 ай бұрын
Hi Roy, keto really does work. I did it several years a=go and finally lost the lbs. I had accumulated over a long time. The first few weeks were hard - I was craving foods that had mega carbs - bread, pasta, etc. Suddenly after aboiut 3 weeks it stopped completely. I began melting a coup-le of pounds a week then it just stabilized. I now just eat "carb conscious" and the lbs. never came back. Stay with it!

Since January I’ve lost a family friend to fentanyl. Another dear friend to a fatal home invasion. An uncle to suicide. My grandfather was diagnosed with congestive heart failure. My father was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s (he’s not even 60 yet). And I myself am still in recovery from a car accident (I was not at fault). Then Paul. 2024 has been a shit year. Though somewhat somber and tinged with sadness, this thanksgiving special was very comforting to see, a tradition all its own. Thank you Roy, so much, for being there for us through it all. And thank you for showing us what it means to love someone and honor them while remaining strong. Happy Thanksgiving from the bottom of my heart to Roy, the Harrell family, and each and every one of you.

Good job Roy! Thanks for continuing the tradition. I wrote that first part before I finished watching the video and posted it. After that it only got better. Outstanding job. As to remembering to enjoy family, I concur. My wife's mother passed away at our house the day before Thanksgiving. She had Alzheimer's and my wife had been taking care of her for the last year and a half. We had her 90th Birthday party on the 9th and she was lucid and smiling and really appreciated all of the attention. One thing she made my wife promise to her was to not forgo the Thanksgiving tradition if she passed as she felt her time was approaching (that was a month ago, and my wife honored her wishes). As many of our kids who could come did as did her grandson with all of their families and we enjoyed a wonderful time in her honor. This was a wonderful time in Paul's honor. Your friends appreciate that. And all of us 1.5 million followers are your friends.
