It may be a long shot, but since McFarlane just revealed the TAS Joker and Commisioner Gordon now with this 70's Gordon, maybe there could be cartoony guns for them on the next weapons pack (similar to Ted Kord's laser gun or Frankenstein's Steampunk pistol)?

Filmation wasn't able to use The Riddler in the '77 version since Hanna Barbara had the rights to him (and the Scarecrow) for the CHALLENGE OF THE SUPERFRIENDS episodes featuring the Legion of Doom. I think the opening was already completed which had the Riddler included so rather than re-do the opening, they opted to re-color him as to suggest it wasn't the traditional Riddler. It's why he never appeared in the '77 series...

Interesting. I was going to post that I have read that Filmation director Hal Sutherland was color blind, hence pink tribbles and grayish Adorians on Filmation's Star Trek. Though it is my understanding that if you are blue-yellow color blind green would look blue, and if your red-green, green is a grayish green.

The Riddler, despite being shown in the opening, never appeared in any episode because the rights to the character were with Hanna Barbera in "The Challenge of the Superfriends" which was shown simultaneously with "The New Adventures of Batman" along with the Scarecrow and for Filmation couldn't use the Riddler, however the opening was apparently already ready, so they just changed the color of the costume from green to pink to make it look like it was another character.

That Riddler head looks like Plastic Man. I picked up Lord Death Man from GameStop to go with my Halloween skeleton people. I wouldn't have even known about him if not for your review videos. So Thank You!

These figures are suppose to be from the cartoon. Batman's head sculpt is off, wrong chest logo and wrong belt. Robin's chest logo has the correct colors, but wrong font style for the "R". The 66 bat radios are nice, but they were not used in the cartoon. Good looking set, but quite a few misses.

I just now commented on your other video about the New Adventures of Batman action figure line by McFarlane. I can understand your dislike of that particular animated Batman. You're of the younger generations who probably would not get or understand the value of this series. Rather than repeat all that I posted in your other video, I just wanted you to know that there are fans of this Batman cartoon series from 1977, even though we are probably few and far between. Or I may be the only fan of the New Adventures of Batman series, I don't care if I'm the only fan or not. But I have very fond memories of watching this particular Batman series on Saturday mornings from 1977 to 1981. I searched for the series on rare VHS during the 90's to early 2000's and I was happy as a clam on 2007 when the New Adventures of Batman was finally and officially released on DVD, and I'm hoping for a BluRay release in the future. But other than the voices of Adam West and Burt Ward, the New Adventures of Batman marked the first media appearances of Clayface and the first time Commissioner Gordon looked just like his comic book counterpart. This was before Batman The Animated Series, and the only live action actor to look like Gordon, let alone the younger version of him was Gary Oldman in the Christopher Nolan Dark Knight Trilogy. While I do agree that there are some parts of the cartoon that are unwatchable, I must respectfully disagree about it being totally unwatchable. But that's my 2 Bat Cents worth.

Before this was the 1968 version with Olan Soule and Kasey Kasem voicing Batman & Robin. That one was much better in my opinion because tge villains were better and they didn’t have to tone down the kicking and punching like they did in the ‘77 one.

I think DC's biggest miss was not having Batmite, Mopee, Ambush Bug and Myx (E's-1&2) show up for Crisis back in the day so we could see what all the decades of comic relief were doing about the end of the multiverse, though not in quite as zanny a way as Mxy & Mite's killing the multiverse special. Who knows, maybe even in an (almost) entirely series tale?

Nope. Not for me. The draw of the 66 batman line was the "66 Batman" part. Take that away and you're left with this. I didn't even know about the New adventures of Batman. I just looked it up and it's definitely later than Superfriends or the Ruby Superman which I was quite aware of. It's so strange, to find a DC cartoon that I wasn't aware of in this timeframe. But yeah, no connection for me at all and no interest in it.
