I really like your rating system. I’m going to add one to my 2025 book journal too. Currently I rate them based on my gut but I like the consistency of spelling it out. My 5 star will include ‘I couldn’t put it down and read when I should have been doing something else’

Yes! All of my 5 star reads have kept me awake all night because I couldn’t bear to stop reading!

Love watching your videos, this one included! It wasn’t boring 😆 I loooove your rating system and it has me thinking about my own a little bit. I’m a 5 star rater almost exclusively. Buuut I like your mention of if it has you thinking about it often, or dreaming about it etc. That would be a better fit, in my opinion, for a 5 star for me. Do you use half ratings at all?

Thank you! ❤️ Yes, I do use half star ratings. I usually use them when I feel like a book isn’t really fitting one specific rating exactly!

I dont do a reading journal, but i rate books based on the feels and whether or not it kept my interest. TFS!

Keeping my interest is a big thing for me too! I am far too easily distracted haha

Based on your thoughts of book 1 and 2 on acotar I'm pretty sure you won't enjoy book 3. I love a migration video so definitely do more if you can xx

I have historically rated books without a specific system, more feeling than analytical. This year I'm going to try to be a bit more analytical because I've realized my rating may depend on my mood. When I first figured it out I stopped rating books as soon as I finished them and took some time to think about it, I think CAWPILE is a little complicated though, I'm looking at Erin Smith's PEACH system, not thrilled with her nonfiction system though -- it seems skewed toward self help type books and I read history, philosophy, poetry, lots of different nonfiction. Meanwhile, I very. much enjoyed this video -- I don't migrate because I have too many books to write out a backlog and I don't track series, but I enjoyed your thought processes that you shared.l
