Nice review. I have a 621QZE and a 28” two stage. The 621 is great for my wife to use as it’s fewer controls (more like a mower) and easier to maneuver. The two stage models have too many controls - fwd/back, auger on/off, chute up/down, etc. I like the single control you showed for the chute.

I have an old (30 years old) Toro 624 that is built heavy duty. Other than oil changes and a couple replacement belts, it's about indistructable as a machine can be. I wouldn't trade it for any of the newer ones.

Bought Toro snowblower last January. Many attempts to contact “ customer Service “ all failed. Company headquarters in Minnesota beyond customer reach. Assembly instructions in micro print and of no assistance. Failed attempts to reach HQ resulted in back charge on my telephone bill. Vendor tried to assist but acknowledged Toro lack of customer assistance. Had to rely on private source You Tube videos for assembly assistance..Very disappointing experience.

I'm sorry but this gives me know idea what size snow blower to purchase. I need to blow snow not smoke. How deep, how heavy, how compacted how icy, etc. Maybe I'll stick with a shovel.

Great review. This really helped me understand the snow blowers between each type. One question I have is, does the middle one between two-stage and single-stage machines, Does that one also clear the driveway well like the single-stage ones? You mentioned that a single stage is close to the ground to clear the hard surface better than two stages. But, this one looks like two stages but works like a single stage. So, I was curious if this 724 QXE clears better than the 821 single stage. Thank you!

No, the Power Clears clear to the ground better than any other blower. They also handle slushy snow better.

@@Nnon11026hjThe 724 has a true self propel. The 821 uses the paddles but it will still pull you along. That is the deciding factor. Personally I would get the 824. That extra power is worth the cost difference. If you are short on space, the snowmaster’s handles will not collapse like the power clear.

That Personal Pace system stinks 🦨.. Dont buy that blower with that pace system, it doesn't clean well

@@howeequipment the personal pace gas that looks like a two stage . I bought brand new and sold it immediately. Just awful .. The personal pace system made it awkward to use and it didn't dig down to clean well in my opinion. Stick was a regular two stage

Im guessing it has a plastic tranny also... Sort of like the rider mowers. Complete garbage..@@howeequipment .. On the other hand been using the toro pups for 40years..own ccr to the power clear.. Buy 15 of them a yr...
