The twins are amazing light weight sports cars. Unless you need high HP just get one of these and enjoy. I have never bought same model or even brand when I get a different car. The BRZ was so great it was my 1st new car purchase & if anything happens will buy another.

I put a deposit on one and it was WAY TOO SMALL for me. If you are over 6’2”-6’3” then your knee will be on the e-brake and steering wheel. Also, the cup holder is right where my elbow rested. I was hoping it would be a little bigger. Looking at GR Corollas now and I fit PERFECTLY in that one! Now it’s just a matter of finding one that isn’t crazy in price. Markups are ridiculous. Went to look at a Type R and they wanted +10k over MSRP/+60k OTD🤯I laughed at that price!

The Miata is better sports car with double wishbone suspension & even lighter weight. However very little room so must be 2nd car for most. I lived outta NA Miata so can be done. I did get 2022 BRZ that has a lot more room & but more power.

It is far from safe... it has Torsen LSD which is very unstable in high g-force corners especially with upgraded tires, a clutch pack LSD is a must if you want to do sports driving.

Steering feel was better in the older GT86, the deadzone is bigger in the GR86 and feels a little more Lexus like sadly. The faster you go though, the better it gets.

Lowering springs really helped improve steering feel. Can tell if I’m on the stripes. For any who care even stock the car communicates what’s going to happen before it does so very friendly to slide around safely

The 86 is supposed to be an all-around vehicle it's cheap, decent at sliding, and not so overpowered a newbie will hurt themselves trying out a power slide fo the first time. Also the Initial D movie sucked because it took liberty with the source material the love interest is for the streets but not like the movie depicts
