Land Cruiser is Land Cruiser for both 250 or 300. Whether you like it or not. You will compare to other brand na mas maganda ang interior and performance then buy it for other brand. But the fans will sill wait or pay for premium. Many still waiting for 2.8 1GD Mild Hybrid Engine. I thought before hindi siya maganda. Kaso masyado na hype at kaunti ang stock kaya pay it with premium price or start reserving for unit in Dealer Finance Option for SRP price. 😊🚗

15:55 frustrated me when they got rid of knobs in favor of buttons, then to flat touch, and they moved to touch capacitive, and now touchscreens. I guess buttons/switches aren't so bad, but I will always fight for knobs.

If you got the dough then go for it. If you cannot afford it then i hope one day you will be blessed to buy one or at least other cheaper but worthy alternatives. Just dont start the hate on it. Yes it is a toyota, reliable than most but even the most reliable vehicle is at the mercy of the owners habits--- regular maintenance and know your stuff. Is the new prado under powered? Yes it is in my opinion. But you miss the point if thats your only argument. You are better off with sporty cars with better driving dynamics and avoid SUVs. Or if you do want more power and still want an SUV then get the LC300 or the lexus GX or LX (or other BMW/Audi/Porche alternatives which are more plush and a tad more impractical unless you do not worry about money at all). Most SUV owners do not go offroading with their vehicle only a handful do. And usually, its beyond 5 or so years that they start to mod it and go all out offroading for those enthusiast. I think the new prado is better. Wish we had the iforcemax as an option. But overall it is decent, 'more' fuel efficient as a 4 banger, some interior materials could be better. Its a great everyday vehicle especially with our kinds of streets which most of us consider "mild off road" already 😂. If the first editions wont worry you then go for it otherwise you can wait for a lil bit. On highspeeds, i am a bit worried about the front glass with that kind of angle. Its similar to the FJ cruiser.

Very true. Personally, I like this design. But if the '58 trim look will still be offered here, and with a diesel engine, that for me is the best one to get! There are grey market dealers already importing the US and UK spec LC250s, and I asked one about the price of the US spec First Edition iForcemax..I was shocked with the price even if I know that it's an import😂

Thanks! The new model definitely has stronger and smoother power delivery, along with all the new creature comforts. In my opinion, it looks a bit softer-more like a modern FJ than a classic Land Cruiser. The previous generation had a more commanding on-road presence, with an executive feel and a rugged charm that was rough around the edges in a good way. But this one is still a stunner, no doubt about it.

I'm so tired of Toyota changing the design for the Philippine market. The front grill for the US market looks better and has a classic look. More people, especially the gen z, would want to buy those. Instead, the design, especially the front grill, for the Philippine market looks like it's only made for politicians when they can sell more if they maintain the classic, retro design. Suzuki with their Jimny understood that.

Toyota is not what it used to be. Palpak transmission ng mga Tacoma in the US, and the new LC has had many recalls di lang talaga alam ng mga pinoy. Not to mention many if not all new models suffer from varying issues from electronics to quality, sayote pa mga service center wheel alignment lang di magawa ng maayos. Their lower end models feel extremely cheap, tunog lata quite literally. If you still have their older cars like the Vios, the difference of the newer models on the steel used is night and day. Mazda is the new king of quality nowadays. Kung may SUV lang talaga na body on frame sila panalo na talaga.
