I love my 2023 platinum. I've literally only seen 4 other new Sequoias on the road. Our valet at the hotel yesterday said he'd never seen one either and loved it.

If you want the Luxury version of the Land Cruiser that seats 8, this Sequoia would be the best choice since the new 2024 Land Cruiser will only seat 5.

Nice. But I'm skeptical about these new unproven engines even from Toyota. Gone are the days of good reliable V8 Tundras and others. Now that is a proven engine. Not that I would ever spend that amount of money on a vehicle with my $72k base salary 😂

Toyota has been using these same 3.5 TT V6 engines since 2017 in the Land Cruisers, and have been testing and developing turbo engines leading up to this one since 93’, so it’s not exactly unproven. It’s extremely rare that Toyota releases anything without putting it through thorough testing, which is why their legacy is primarily reliability.

At $80k price level, the average American can't afford one. The average American gets an income of $30k or less per year, meaning the SUV is overpriced. Also there is no need for a 7 seater. I recommend taking the rear seats so the entire area becomes a cargo space. This mod is important for the military and campers since they carry many gear. An SUV dream would be the size of a Truck with the bed being the cargo space with a roof instead of being open. Makes sense?
