Sequoia is my wife. I love this car with all my heart and soul. I have the 2016 platinum but planning to buy this 2024 as well. I dream sequoia all night long

Because of the hybrid battery in the bottom of the third row seat that is why the third row seat is high

Nice SUV but that rear storage is horrid. If they made it where the seating could fold flat, without huge gaps it would be much better

100% excellent observation and comment. I sat in a 2023 Sequoia this afternoon and the first thing I opened, was the rear hatch. Same observation. Why? Because they build in the spare tire and place it inside the vehicle, not outside. And this reduces a great amount of interior room. Same issue I have on my 2019 QX80. But my 2001 GMC Yukon has an exterior spare tire and much more interior room. When I removed the 3rd row seat in my Yukon, its flat and lots of cargo capacity. The rear cargo of these new SUVs is horrible. I also dislike the lack of center console in the between the back seats. My QX80 has a sizeable arm rest and cargo section between the rear seats. I do like the media screen layout but NOT the exposed cell phone charging cubby. Looks cheap being exposed at all times. Rear seats are lacking. My QX80 rear seats are nicer. And I do like the simplistic design of the rear window shades. I always liked that since first seeing it on a Mercedes S65 AMG. (They were electric)

Maybe a Bench seat which can fold flat to create cargo room if needed will be better especially if the buyer has a large family.

The SUV is amazing but my concern is the storage in the 3rd row highlander has better flat storage than the sequoia.

The console between the captains seats should be a little higher and much nicer. It should be build to support the Arms like the main arm rest!

2nd generation SequiOa is still the best.this 3rd generation SequiOa has too many unnecessary accessories. The folded seats are very common. 2nd generation SequiOa has even folded seat that you can make it as your room.

I really like the design, both interiour and exteriour. I'd go for a 5 seater, non-hybrid, if they exist anymore.

Personally, I like a dark colored fender flare & plastic. Keeps stone chips away from the paint & looks more useable as far as daily driving. Not so pretty looking.

Good looking vehicle, but inside needs substantial wood panels. You MUST provide that for a luxury like this. Otherwise, the vehicle is just utilitarian in form.

That’s ashamed that the rear seats do not fold flat. A very big disappointment, probably a game changer for me unless you can get a two row seating arrangement or a non hybrid choice as it’s that darn hybrid battery causing that problem. I guess the (non) hybrid Lexus GX550 has more room for cargo. I just can’t get over the step caused in the back with the third row down, just makes it pretty much unusable for me.

Wish they had an XL version of the sequoia like the GM brands that would be a game changer for toyota cause people might need a capable offroading SUV!
