I'm in Ontario, Canada, and will be looking very seriously at the Tundras. I've been searching non-stop for different exhaust options, and you are just the guy I was looking for. Thanks for the video, and I'll be sure to look you up when the time comes!

Very cool! I just got my new Tundra and it definitely needs this mod. I just don't know if it will void my warranty?

I can't speak to that for certain, but I would assume you would be okay as you are just changing the muffler itself. Best to check with your dealer!

could u make a video, comparing this exhaust, and the carven exhaust on the newer tundras?
@AtlanticBuiltАй бұрын
I don't know anyone with one around, it's possible I might do this in the future. I suspect this version would be louder than the carven, but our oval version is likely quieter. Video to come on that.

How’s the drone?
@AtlanticBuilt19 күн бұрын
At the 2000rpm mark it's definitely there. This was the first version we tried. Always working on improving things. Our 12" Oval version is much quieter inside and out, but does still have a notable drone at that 2000rpm range. After testing a handful of mufflers and resonators, the 12" Oval version is what we decided on going back to for this truck. We found it was the best sound from the outside, and not overbearing on the inside. We will be exploring and testing options to take care of the drone entirely, which will be offered in the new year. 🤙

12” or 18” in this video? Looking for loud but more grumble
@AtlanticBuiltАй бұрын
This one is the 12" bottle. It's quite loud overall. The 18" is a bit quieter and easier in the cab, the 12" Oval version (have yet to make a video on) is much easier on the cold starts, and quieter overall, keeping a very similar exhaust note wide open. Still obvious that there is an exhaust on the truck, but not as much "bark" as the bottle resonator versions. More to come on those soon!
@nikolasfort386Ай бұрын

DAMN, this is sick and I want one for my 24' Sequoia! I really like the throaty sound, but it may get old for a daily??... how about a valved system like sports cars these days???
@AtlanticBuilt2 ай бұрын
Funny you say that, I can definitely make and offer a valved setup! (I offer them for other makes and models) was thinking of doing a slip on design that retains the full OEM exhaust, and the valved section would include a resonator to clean up the sound. Would just depend on space/figuring it out. I can set them up to open via boost, or just by remote/key fob.
@534jgm2 ай бұрын
@@AtlanticBuilt Yeah perfect, I would sign up for a remote operated valve all day! Keep it quiet in the neighbour hood and turn it loose off road. Your fab is beautiful, the C8 systems are stunning 👍🏻👍🏻
@jorgealejandro57882 ай бұрын
Does it fit for 2024 tundra trd pro?
@AtlanticBuilt2 ай бұрын
It would fit yes, It might be a little rowdy though! Given the Tundra TRD Pro axle-back section doesn't have the rear resonator that comes on the standard models. So it might be a bit much... Unless of course that's what you're into! I do have a couple options for muffler length on the site. I'd suggest the TRD Pro trims have a larger muffler than this one, designed for the standard models. Still have some testing to do. 🤙
@jorgealejandro57882 ай бұрын
@@AtlanticBuilt would it be any different on the install or it would fit exactly the same?

At least be smart about it and say you’re disappointed that the machining process for the *new* V6 was a disaster and you wish there was a V8 option. You sound dumb when you say “should have a V8” when the Tundra has been offered with a V6 for 25 years now
