@@countcuda70 you can’t just blatantly make a claim like that without context, evidence, or nuance.. it’s not the truth whatsoever. The power stroke was designed in the 1980s first of all in America. It wasn’t until the early 2000s where the AVL company you mentioned *partnered with Ford as a design *consultant. They never did much crucial design work for Ford, just gave them some insight on structural elements. And while many American brands have plants in Mexico, these are merely assembly lines. Doesn’t make the vehicle any less American because it happens to be produced in a neighboring country to an *extent. Most of these trucks are fully manufactured in the American states of Alabama and Indianapolis with some also being built in Ohio at one point. America also gave insight to Mercedes for their full size SUVs that appeal to the American market more heavily and have assembly lines in Alabama, so does this make the GLS400 an American car? No. It just so happens to have had American manufacturing input and production lines

That F-250 don't have Sport mode? oh geez, that's the only way to make a Toyota Feel good, by beating something that wasn't even designed for Racing, wow, Toyota Tundra managed to beat a F-250 in a Drag race, a Work Truck, yeah that truck's actually designed for working, not Racing, that's like when they pass me while I'm driving the Speed limit, makes them feel like their truck's got balls by passing something that's driving the Speed limit, it's like I didn't even know we was racing, I was just driving the legal speed limit. I seen a video where a Toyota Tundra beat an F-250 in a tug of war, the problem was is that the F-250 was in Neutral the entire time, it wasn't even trying to drag the Toyota, the Toyota was the only truck smoking tires while dragging a F-250 that was in Neutral, The Winner of the Tug Of War is, the Truck that wasn't in Neutral during the Tug of War, but even in Neutral the F-250 gave Toyota a run for it's money, Toyota Felt pretty good dragging a truck that had free spinning Wheels and wasn't even in Drive, the driver was busy drinking coffee.

What a BS comparison. NONE of these truck should be compared to each other. They are not being bought by the same person. Some one who is going to buy an F250 Diesel is not looking at a Toyota Tundra. This is Dumb.

Like I said, Toyota Tundra's got Sport mode, it got smoked by an F-150 with sport mode though, like closer to 500 feet between them and it wasn't even the Racing Model of F-150.

Wtf is the point if a "racing truck?" Doesn't that defeat the purpose of a truck? You want speed and handling get a damn car

I wonder if these trucks are actually used as trucks or pavement queens.

Most people don’t buy long box crew cab 2500s as “pavement queens” whatever that means. These aren’t off-road trucks so they’ll spend their lives on the road pulling trailers and hauling heavy.

This is only an attempt to make the Toyota look good why not put up regular trucks against it not hd trucks 🤔

everyones asking why tundra but no one is asking why he chose a v6 tundra instead of the v8 that makes 437hp and 583lb ft of torque instead of 300 from the ttv6
@FastTimes759 ай бұрын
Put 2600 pounds in the bed of that tundra, you’ll see a big difference. That’s how much more the ford weighs compared to the tundra
@hkiyfhpppytrreАй бұрын
If you are gonna say that then also change the gear ratio and engine.

As much as I like seeing the Tundra beat the Ford and the GMC it’s not really a fair race. Why not race the Ford, GMC and the Dodge Diesel trucks and the Toyota, Ford, GMC and Dodge gas trucks for a better comparison?

I own a 2023 Ford F250 6.7 and I own a 2015 duramax diesel The ford has already been in the shop more than the duramax This is what really matters to me

I'm a Ford man but the interior on that GMC does look outstanding. Honestly both trucks look great I think.
@Petroeri9 ай бұрын
The Toyota on the other hand has a pathetic looking interior. I was most disappointed in the interior of it when I first saw it at the Houston auto show. Easily the worst of any truck brand, even in the premium trims.

Hmm are we sure you guys are at full throttle on every truck? Its pretty quiet in these cabs for full acceleration…

What the guy driving the f250 doesnt know pushing the traction control twice activates sport mode & for sure doesnt know how to take off from a dead stop needs to brake boost it that Toyota would of lost

You should've raced the F-250 in tow/haul mode, it holds lower gears longer.

@@Allegronaut did you ever try racing in tow Haul? It doesn’t takeoff fast at all.

Horrible race parameters. No count downs. No staging lights. No one takes off at the same time. Very unprofessional. You need to watch how Matt does it on CARWOW. Your races are a joke.

So the Ford won efficiency, power and torque AND just lost to the much lighter and gas powered twin turbo V6 half ton? I think it's the real winner here today.

You seem pretty hurt lmao. Comparing the little tundra to a 2500 how down bad do you have to be
@kevin1227599 ай бұрын
Not really a fair comparison. Why did you use high output powerstroke instead of the regular powerstroke? The price for the regular powerstroke and duramax are the same. The high output powerstroke is $3000 more.
@aaronberg57083 ай бұрын
What a terribly orchestrated race. How about get on the radio and all go in unison when you're at the right speed. Plus what's that tundra doing there? What a mess.

All the power of the big diesels these days is great but after a certain point I’d gladly give up the more than necessary power for more reliability and longevity. I just don’t trust the new diesels.
@scottmctear62828 ай бұрын
You need to tap the traction control twice very fast. Either that or you can also push the traction control and hold it there for 6 seconds and put it on race mode. You got track mode. You do have a track mode and you can also pull out the full wheel. Drive, pull it out and locks the rear end. And now you got pause It with track mode. You gangle pasta?I have a trauma 2023 I know 22 hour.Good luck I love my ford❤😊

Not gonna lie,I never expected the toyota to be competitive given the weight to torque ratio among these 3 beasts. This test shows that weight to horsepower ratio still matters. I also think if a 5000 pound trailer is added to each of these the Tundra would likely not win due to less torque. Was an interesting match up. Imagine if it was the hybrid Max
