I went to my Toyota dealer in the UK and they had a Yaris GR Sport in Ash Grey just come in I signed the deal there and then. Picking it up in a few days. We went for a test drive and was so impressed with the hybrid. For the 20min drive the engine was on for a total of 2mins in the test car they had - insane.

Hi Kieran congratulations on your purchase yes it arrived within 4 weeks bang on time it may take the dealer to take few extra days for collection appointment as they get busy also you can track your progress online with your order number shows you build process and shipping route mine came from France even though the Jemca Croydon said Japan

@@carlosamaral6917 C’est une très bonne petite voiture, très agréable à conduire MAIS y a beaucoup d’aide à la conduite dont on ne peut pas désactiver et des bip un peu agaçants (de sécurité certes) Je consomme en moyenne 3,6L/100kms Pour l’instant aucun problème et j’en suis à 2500 kms Difficile de donner mon avis parce que je passe d’une Seat Leon FR 184 2.0 TDI full options de 2014 à une petite voiture hybride de 2024 ^^ Mais si je mettrais une note je dirais 7/10 pour la Toyota Yaris et 9/10 pour la Seat Leon (je la regrette un peu 😢)

This car is the opposite of a performance German car, but what you say about the driving aids and beeps is now common to almost every car on the european market... I'm also considering the Yaris in this spec or in the lower one, haven't decided yet...

@@carlosamaral6917 Avec plaisir mon ami Oui c’est vrai il y a beaucoup de normes de sécurité et les marques doivent respecter même si ça déplaît aux clients. Honnêtement avec le temps ont s’y fait, on respecte les limitations de vitesse, conduite plus souple, et il faut voir les bip comme un avantage et pas un inconvénient. Je suppose que t’as essayé cette Yaris sur la route… j’ai un conseil et si c’est possible pour toi de le faire, ça t’aiderait beaucoup. Si tu peux en louer une pour 2 jours par exemple et idéalement faire tes trajets quotidiens pour voir si c’est une voiture pour toi, je trouve que c’est la meilleure solution. Après ce qui est rassurant c’est qu’il y en a tellement des yaris en France j’en croise tous les jours donc je doute pas de la fiabilité. Évite la version sans les feux led, c’est peut être trop basique malgré que c’est quasiment identique. La version Design est bonne tout en restant abordable (façon de parler 23 400€ c’est pas abordable pour moi 😅) J’hésitais avec la Clio 5 évolution hybride mais Toyota sont les meilleurs avec la technologie hybride donc le choix est vite fait ! Bon courage ! J’espère que ça t’aidera un peu à faire ton choix C’est pas facile de choisir mais je pense que tu trouveras ton bonheur en tout cas je te le souhaite 😉 C’est pratique Google traduction ^^

This is not the top version! Its more like lower middle version. The best one comes with way more options like a bigger instrument cluster, better seats and speakers and also the new 130hp engine! And a lot more..

Really torn between this and the Corolla hybrid. I do most mid length journeys around semi urban areas and occasional longer trips on motorways so im thinking the Yaris would be fine. But I think i prefer the Corolla generally

I had the same doubts and went with the Yaris. I do a lot of motorway. No regrests at all. This new Yaris is much more grown up, very good in motorway for a small car

got the car for a testdrive from the dealership and drove it 60 km on the motorway and maybe 4 Km urban driving. 6.5 L/100 Km and I've got a heavy foot on the gas pedal ranging from 140-160 km/h. Above 120 km/h it is noisy of course but it is a pleasant noise. If you get the JBL Sound System it won't bother you. Overall I was impressed and I will order it soon. Hope you made the right decision already?

This is the Launch Edition. The Style version comes with keyless entry and start, sensors and more speakers overall. Otherwise it looks almost the same.

It feels more like a both at lower and higher speeds, it is still a small car but compared to many cars in its class it does feel a lot more stable. The extra weight of the hybrid system can be reason for this.

I am actually as tall as you are and i can say that you will be riding just fine with that car! If you have passengers then you might have to move the seat a bit forward but its still very spacious for a small car 👍🏽

This car has no variable transmission so it doesn't matter. The HSD uses a completely different drivetrain concept that has no disengaging parts. All the lever does is telling the controller to reverse force direction on the main electrical engine that is in fixed gear ratio.
