We gave some industry media members first crack at testing our latest lineup, and now the 2024 Ski-Doo trail and crossover snowmobile reviews are here.
These experts couldn’t hit the trails fast enough to test out our 2024 trail and crossover lineup. With more models moving to the rider-centric REV Gen5 platform and, for the first time, a 2-stroke turbo engine on the trail, the media members present had a lot to digest. A few initial thoughts: the industry-first water injection system is brilliant. The 2024 Backcountry is a true 50/50 crossover that’s as stellar off the trails as on them. I could never buy new I don't have that kind of money nor would I pay that much for something I can't use but what I did do was managed to buy 2 sleds last yr rev MXZ and a crossfire 800. My brother crashed the MXZ and I sold the crossfire I turned around and then I bought a switch back and then I bought a switch back adventure both of us scratched our heads at the end of the year and we both Miss the rev that's how well ski doo makes a snowmobile.

the suspension on them ski doos are pretty good but i think its a bit weird how our 850 will over heat and shut off from idling 1 minute but then again its meant to be riping around or getting towed by a cat when the engine leaves the chat and not idling i dont personally like them but they are alright sleds they are good towers to we used our 18 850 to tow out a dead 91 polaris indy 500 it did awesome especially with its big lugs and then the bumper broke cuz its fairly thin metal but i understand the bumper isnt meant for sudden tugs so we ended up towing the indy back with my powder special but yeah ski doos are alright i wish and hope they come out with a brand new apline 2 thatd be rad

Ski doo needs a 11 gallon fuel tank not a nine gallon fuel tank.

People are reporting the turbo isn't that much of an improvement. Don't listen to video's like this.
