2024 Triumph Speed 400 T4 Review - A Masterstroke or a Misstep?|

Seems more of a base variant Speed 400 than a different bike altogether….like it’s said towards the end, I won’t mind a slightly elevated EMI for the Speed 400.

Jumped the gun yesterday? 😁 Jokes apart, the more first ride reports I see, the more I'm convinced that the T4 is an absolutely unneeded variant. The cost cutting on the components is far greater then the 23k shave from the MY25 Speed 400's price. If you compare to the price of the first gen Speed 400, it becomes downright ridiculous! It needed to be priced not more than 1.80L to make any sort of sense. Got to see the MY25 Speed 400 today in the metal at the showroom. The additional seat padding (slightly firmer foam too) is a very good improvement for longer stints in the saddle. Saves you the trouble and hefty cost of having to go for the quilted seat accessory for long riding comfort (which I had gone for 🥲). Add the Vredestein rubber and adjustable levers to the mix, and I feel the price increase from the first gen is definitely justified. The only miss is the blacked out exhaust. It is an eyesore!

@@Naveengupta.V for real? That's great news for new buyers if so. India triumph insta account was trying really hard to justify the decision to go with the blacked out exhaust, inspite of heavy backlash... 😁

The biggest advantage I see is that T4 should give couple of more kms per litre and the relaxed engine should help in easy riding as well. Both of these will be a boon in day to day commute.

this could have been a hit if you price this at 1.9 but then you ahve your pulsar400 sitting there, so you could have just put it at 2.00 lakh to win the mass crowd that goes for hunter at 2.00 on road. this will dent speed 400 further coz ppl used to get speed at 2.23-33 depending on the discounts not they ahve to get it at 2.4L whihc makes it 3L on road

Unridden opinion here from me..😁 Listening to all the reviews, love the bike for riding, even with the apparent parts downgrade. 1 negative in my opinion... the colouring & stickering is making it look cheap.... should have kept the sophistication like the Speed 400. Especially the rim stickers.

What kind of premature musicians have u hired? Do they know anything in sound mixing? Vocals to instrumental; ear hurts. Normally people include music to enhance the viewer's experience. Here music works like noise.

buy speed 400 and modify with rear 39 teeth sprocket......to get good millage and top speed but we suffer from 3 nm torque reduce

Torque doesn't reduce too much.. just need to shift higher to avoid stalling.
