Sarge heads to Malaysia to ride the 2024 TVS Apache RR310 Race Bike developed as part of the One Make Championship in the Asia Road Racing Championship. Laced in carbon it weighs all of 125kgs wet, the same 312cc single makes 60HP to propel it to 216kmph and is equipped with top of the line suspension setup from Ohlins. And what better to experience it than the Sepang International race track. Sarge cannot wipe the smile off his face as he tells you all about it.

when you increase the airflow in any bike then after combustion it has to exit the bike properly else it will ruin the engine and the amount of power produced will not be significant. think of it like you trying to breathe in air but when you want to exhale your nostrills get blocked

@@BhaveshSinghBhanucsgo you bring more air then the ecu burns more fuel in order to maintain the air fuel ratio hence the bike is able to produce more horsepower, increasing the rev limit is also very crucial, hence most bikes who produce high bhp while being smaller in cubic capacity rev pretty high like 11 12 13000 rpm

but they never pass on these to consumer/commercial products. Why not pass on the amazing race faring to the RR310. RR is supposed to mean Race Replica, but all they launch is a sport tourer, with laid back ergos. Imagine the RR310 u obliterate the R15 v4 in terms of looks alone. For that to happen the RR310 needs proper race faring and viwsor to look the part. I hate the typical sport tourer look, with pain visors without the fairing brace and bolts to hold the visor steady on track. And the chassis needs a proper rework, it down inspire confidence at all when paired with the suspension setup. Over all the RR310 is an utter disappointment, even when it comes to the power delivery. Not a Track machine at all. Common TVS. Even Bajaj (who has little to no track experience) has found out a good engione+chassis+suspension combo for the track.

@@harshdeshmukh9603 it will still cost that much. To get max power from an engine requires a lot of R&D along with specialised parts right from pistons, engine block, intakes and exhaust systems. R&D isn't cheap

@@OmkarNevse you actually can't get the most power because first things first BS6 emissions norms so the power would be less second TVS already has the engine ready here thus Heavy R&D isn't exactly required the current chasis of the 310 isn't bad 😞 so all they need is to make norms compliant the costs of all the extensive parts might be high so it will be higher than the Rc390,RS457, Ninja500,R3 but it will also produce a significant power for a 300 single so in the end It will end up to become costlier cuz the current gen 310s even from TVS are costly so we might end up with 5-6 lakh. 300 cc 50ish HP bike so yeah ig it's not of any use because it would just end up too pricy at this point i feel the need of mine from the first comment actually doesn't make sense 🥲

U have lost some serious weight!! What’s the secret? 60 hp from 300 cc requires crazy amount of mods. Even on ninja 300 which is a twin cylinder, I don’t think anyone has achieved 60hp. What tyre were they using ? EuroGrip I suppose.

Dear TVS please don’t change the design of concept. Your every concept turned out to be different product at last. Cost cutting is okay but changing whole design for that is very disappointing. Akula concept was damn cool but the final product was very different from the concept. Same thing happened to naked 310. Do whatever but don’t change the design. No bike look better than this one rightnow even under 600cc bike. And please don’t overuse Logo everywhere. Racing bikes are not for comport don’t listen to those public who love eating fried maggie by adding extra haldi+jeera+chicken+garam masala. Motive: if you wanna make racing bikes, make it fully racing. Don’t make it semi racing.

TVS is the weirdest Indian manufacturer I can think of.... Like they have years of experience in road and off road racing and have showcased ability to produce premium products. Then they keep it to themselves and their factory teams and add winglets to a 310 cc bike that even their double power race machine doesn't need. It's like the marketing and engineering departments are in two different planets.
