That is an enormous pouting! Never had much luck myself with the place on Chesil - the locals seemed to know what to do - 3.5 hour drive from me from London but it’s always worth it even if you blank.

I fished Chesil many years ago when we worked there on Lulworth cove , had loads mackerel cracking spot 👌

I remember going to Chesil and local fishermen told me your better off going back to welsh land as fishing is better so off to Swansea and never looked back 😅😅😅😂

good effort, a vastly over rated place in my opinion, full of mackerel bashers in the summer, been there a few times and never really enjoyed it, I doubt if I will ever go thee again.

There's a true saying 5% of anglers catch 95% of the decent fish. I've never had anything any good from there i have fished it quite a few times . Bristol channel is the place the place for me
