when installing windows, on the install boot page you can choose English (World) in the Region format and it will not download and install the bloatware so you don't have to use any software to debloat and after downloading all the updates you can switch back to your preferred format

I have a very modest setup (RTX 2060 6gb + i511400F + 32gb 2,666 mhz + sata3 ssd + 60hz monitor) and I play any map with FPS locked at 60fps. 1) In the nvida dashboard: MANAGE 3D SETTINGS - in the DSR factors option: I chose the scale 1.78x (2560x1440) - in the DSR smoothness option: I left it at zero CHANGE RESOLUTION - I changed the resolution to (2560x1440). 2) IN THE GAME SPTARKOV GRAPHICS: - in the SCREEN RESOLUTION option: I changed it to (2560x1440) - in the SCREEN MODE option: I changed it to BORDERLESS WINDOW - in the FPS LIMIT option: set 30fps Click save and don't close the game, open the LOSSLESS program. 3) IN THE LOSSLESS program - in the APPLICATION METHOD option: deactivated - in the FRAME GENERATION option: choose LSFG 2.2 - in the MODE option: 2x - in the DISPLAY FPS option: on. Go back to the game, press CTRL+ALT+S and the limit fps (30) / generated fps (60) will be shown. Play and be happy.

About sound: 48000 hz isn't the maximum frequency of sound emitted, but the number of sample per second, In other word in the case of 48000 hz the program check the value informations about audio 48000 times in a second. High definition audio often uses high sampling value like 96 khz or even 384 khz, in simple words : the higher this value the more audio is defined. The audio file must be using those values in order to be reproduced by the DAC of your sound card. In your case your sound component can support up to 48 khz 24 bit, upper sampling will be down scaled (like watching a 4k video on a 1080p monitor). 24 bit 48 khz sound card is very basic level. Ultimate Performance and High performance power plans do not really boost your performance they are actually telling your components to stay in the "turbo" state for example your cpu cant get under 2.50Ghz when you turn on these you wont get any better performance and you will just stress out your components the best option is balanced because you wont lose any performance and your pc will only benefit from it.

Nope. Tech yes city also made many video's about it. It does not prevent Your cpu from idling. It also does not provide any real difference worth talking about, atleast on my 7600x. Still i have it on ultimate performance just in case.

yes they do boost performance. there are some games that don't make your CPU "wake up" and use all it's GHz even while using a lot of CPU. When using balanced I had inconsistent fps on some games (sometimes the CPU would wake up, sometimes not). And they don't stay in turbo state, they stay in ready state (GHz) but just low energy (W). You can use HWMonitor and check the difference in Watts and when idling the difference is minimal but you'll be ready to go (high GHz).

@@НААТ I've noticed the different between Intel and AMD on that part! AMD cpu's does not listened to it! They doesn't stay maxed clocked like Intel does. Let say AMD is 5.3 it bounce up and down before 5.3 and Intel is 5.3 it'll stayed 5.3. I've seen it. But for AMD it is different if want them to stay at the same clocked speed it'll have to be done in BIOs. Also I got same cpu as yours

In my experience Game Mode decreases FPS in games, at least it does in CS2 for me, by about 80-90 FPS. My friends have had similar results. I suggest testing your FPS with it turned off after restarting your PC. You can always turn it back on if you notice a decrease in performance.

Nice video! But hey guys just a reminder before turning things off in your PC/laptop: Most of those settings were engineered for the best of your usability and security. In fact, some setting will make your system to run slower than before, and you will miss quality of life features, like link to your phone, cloud saving, etc. You can also make it more likely to have bugs, erros and crashes. For example, if you are using a laptop, and you just configured your CPU to run at its full potential, you are basically turning it into a desktop that can be used only plugged, since your battery will die pretty quickly if though you are using it for simple tasks, like web browser. There is a reason why your CPU has parked cores. You can end up gain a few FPS, but the performance in game will not change drastically. In the other hand you just made your OS less secure, with no features and aged. Sometimes I ask myslef: People hate Windows, but Apple has a very similar thing when it comes to background processes and features that can consume your system resources, in a much more restrict OS, but nobody says a thing about it 🤫

"clean" Nvidia Driver install not great idea on Laptops like Legion 5. I don't know why. But Something always messes up with GPU wattage. For example in my case. RTX 3060 is 130W. But when you do Clean install after DDU GPU locks itself to 95W. And nothing fixes. Only way that I found is to install Bloated drivers from Geforce Experience. Maybe there is something missing in driver only setup that causes this problem

The issue that you faced on your laptop happens to me as well , when i try activating ultimate performance through cmd or through christitus script , in the power option of control panel the only option available is balanced only. No matter how much i try to change the powerplan it always selects balanced after system restart and the previously activated plan does not even appear. Any help pls!!!!!!

The Nvidia app beta when I tried it just totally wrecked my graphics settings and even after trying to adjust them the games look like crap. Games that were supposed to look like real life looked like Mindcraft. So back to Geforce experience and great graphics. Use beta at your own risk. Beta means its not ready for prime time and will be very buggy or crap like it was for me.
