It seems like every time Alcaraz loses a heartbreaker, people forget how good he is. It happened during the Roland garros and Wimbledon predictions where after his loss in the quarterfinals of ao people doubted him. Don’t be surprised if Alcaraz wins his 3rd slam in 2024.

I say again: To believe that you are going to win is straight up delusional. To believe that you have a good chance to do so (at big events) usually is also delusional except if you're a top 5 player. How about you being able to draw some confidence from the self-belief that you CAN win, even if the odds are stacked against you, and you just being able to be honest and truthful about not having great odds, but at least having SOME odds because you now how well you can play when you're at your best, and drawing some confidence from that. It's not always necessarily a pick between being confident yet totally delusional or not confident yet realistic. If it were, I'd rather be realistic yet not confident than delusionally confident. Fellow Alcaraz fans- I understand where you are coming from, but don't take others not saying his name as them undermining him. At this point no one should be undermining him, he's just won two slams back to back. There's no need to explicitly say he's the favourite for every tournament he enters because at this point it's (for the lack of a better word) redundant. And his video is about hardcourt. No matter how overhyped Sinner is, his record on hard court for the last year or so has been close to flawless he already has 3 titles on the surface (2 big and a 500), he is the best player on the surface at the moment (it pains me so much to admit that). So it's understandable that he is more likely to get picked over Alcaraz. But again, that doesn't mean Carlos is being underestimated, he's won US Open before and has won two slams back to back, so it won't be a surprise if he wins again.

Nole won Gold, I am happy for it, the result could be either way, 2 Tie Breaks mean” TIE”they both played amazingly well. At the end it is game and someone must win. Saying that my options are/ 1-Alcaraz 2-Sinner 3- Djokovic

I see too many people in the comments talking about Nole as a guaranteed winner of the 2024 US Open just because he won the Olympics, forgetting that he played poorly for the rest of the year. It’s going to be fun to see their faces when he gets crushed by Jannik or Carlos.

If he is very motivated he can beat literally anyone right now as he just showed us at the Olympics againts alcaraz,We can talk about this when we see his performance at early rounds.

@@aleksa9957 Us Open has the fastest surface which penalizes his best skill: defense. He looked extremely slow the entire year, everyone gets older, so the US Open doesn't depend on him anymore. If Carlos and Jannik don't make it to the final they can only blame themselves.
