Smart ride -- great way to race forward! I was in the 55-59 race later in the day and it's amazing how the course broke down as it thawed. The back Mansion was area was incredibly slippery and mostly unrideable.

Thanks, steadily working my way up is usually one of my strengths! Yes it was amazing how every lap it was noticeably more thawed and slick. I also raced the singlespeed on Sunday afternoon and it was so slick and muddy that even with big toe spikes the mansion was a major challenge to run through!
