Whatever works If you can get plastic to be +, there's no reason not to throw it. Especially when the alternative is trying to catapult the ball to 7th arrow.

Whats your feeling on the new storm "non urethane" balls? In previous years on thoose terrible lanes, we've seen you just throw the pitch black right at the 1-3.

I hope this is not a stupid question but....why cant you find a ball that doesnt hook and move right....i need answers
@anderstauschristensen91848 ай бұрын
Because even platic would hook a ton when it is this burned(spre ball normally still hooks for 2 handers even on fresh)

As a two handed bowler, how do I get my speed up? My revs are really high, so naturally I stick to the left side of the lane, however occasionally I go right using the purple hammer or a plastic ball. Currently in my arsenal I have the Black widow 2.0, Deadly Rattler, purple hammer, and a plastic spare ball. Knowing that I want to increase my speed, I currently throw anywhere from 13-15 mph.

I don't get it. Why wait to use a less reactive cover? Why not use a sym or even urethane much earlier?
@whyamihere23668 ай бұрын
It wouldn't give the best reaction going through the pins probably. Which would cause less strikes and that transition period is also really easy to miss for any bowler.
@anderstauschristensen91848 ай бұрын
I think its because it will likely burn out early and then never come back to the pocket. But that is just my guess
@BigHurt248 ай бұрын
They are bowling on the burn! You got to take into consideration that a whole Squad bowled before them. So the lanes are hooking and the lanes at that center hook a lot already. Urethane would hook immediately

Honestly it seems silly that a bowler should be forced to move that far left and loft the gutter like a carnival sideshow trick just to be able to hit the pocket. Is there no way to play straight when the lanes get like this?

No, this is burn squad so the lanes are SUPER dry

Hello Belmo I’m not a bowler due to back surgeries but I do enjoy watching and following. I hear a lot and I’m assuming from haters that you are very one dimensional with your bowling and can’t change up. I’m confused on how this is a complaint? If you do that onething better on all surfaces than everyone else switching up how is this a negative? I would think doing onething great would be a good thing. You have a lot less thoughts you always know what shot you are going to throw and it’s up to everyone else to beat you. Do you wish you changed up your style or strategy more or are you happy with where you are at? I’d rather be expert at one way of doing it rather than good at a bunch of different ways.
@shaunmcisaac7828 ай бұрын
Surprised that when they're hooking this much there is never a move to plastic or like a tropical surge type ball. Just something to not have to stand an entire area code left.

@traviswheatley68488 ай бұрын
Why didn’t you try urethane and straighten out your shot? I’m just asking for myself. I’m no belmo
@JonHop18 ай бұрын
Probably due to the fronts. The front of the lane really dictates how Urethane is going to roll on a pattern, and sometimes, Thane just doesnt get a good look at all on certain patterns or lane conditions. Thats why I threw plastic! When its oily, I throw straight!, when its dry or the front are washed out, I can hook my spare ball like a reactive! And I throw the Hammer Black Widow Spare ball, so it has a core and drives thru the pins really nice! Also, I have seen very little Urethan usage this year since the rule changes. Im wondering if either they are no where near as effective as they used to be, or people havent gotten used to the new Urethane's yet..
