I use my E-50 scooter now with a kitty litter box for groceries at my toes, plus my small backpack. Save lots not driving and is fun. Hope to upgrade, get me farther plus more protected. The Cyber-trike doesn’t use a chain I think. Thanks.

@@larrypilcher3791 I admire your creativity when using your scooter and am glad that you’re having lots of fun 👍 If by “cyber-trike” you mean the Veemo, then yes it does use a chain. The original version had a carbon belt and gear box but Envo thought it was too expensive to produce. I may upgrade my Veemo to use a carbon belt in the future though.

@ I was thinking of the Arcimoto Cyber Trike chainless drive. Hopefully I will get a velomobile by Earth Day next year. Tempted to go for the E-UTV for around the property, but it’s pricy. Don’t know if that is street legal?
@KandB_Outdoors21 күн бұрын
@@larrypilcher3791 Dude what? Arcimoto is bankrupt! They’re in such bad shape they shut down their website last April, so how would you even buy anything from them? Didn’t you research any of this? As for Envo’s UPT, it’s not for sale yet but when it is, I don’t think it will be street legal.

@@larrypilcher3791 Ya for sure. Would be nice if someone bought Arcimoto and continued their work the same way Envo came in and bought Velo Metro.

hi. in regards your horn no functioning; when i received my Veemo SE, i found the wire from switch to the horn was hanging down into the path of the right crank/pedal. i made sure the wire still had conductivity and secured the wire with a ziptie up out of the way. the horn works fine.

coud not it have had a higher clearance in front ? (higher distance from the ground) and more storage space in the back, above the wheel
@KandB_Outdoors18 күн бұрын
@@leonniceday6807 no I don’t think so, higher ground clearance would raise the center of gravity creating instability which would defeat the purpose of employing the trike design. Increasing the cargo capacity would mean increase the size & weight, and thus total cost of an already expensive bike; not to mention would further burden an already slightly underpowered direct drive motor.
@zapaholic3 ай бұрын
With the backrest base and the carpet looking like that, this trike should never have left factory!

Great review! Can you swap out the back wheel for 750w or 1000w? Or is it designed for these wheels
@KandB_Outdoors3 ай бұрын
@@dice268926 The US models have a 750w so it’s possible, but they are illegal in Canada. Law enforcement is cracking down on illegal mods a lot more now though, and when they catch you, they’ll issue a hefty fine in addition to impounding your bike.

I am looking into getting one of these. I live in the USA and had heard that they might be difficult to import. Could you do a video about how you purchased this and how you got it? Did you get it shipped to you or did you bring it home from a dealership? Do you live near a dealership? Thanks!! rbs
@KandB_Outdoors2 ай бұрын
@@robertbrucescott8278 Just like over in the UK, there are extra import fees, but you would have to discuss that with Envo. As for me, I ordered one and then picked it up from their manufacturing wear house in Vancouver. I suppose you could order through a dealer, but I don’t think they have them as floor stock anywhere at the moment, in fact I bet there are less then 30 in the whole world right now. Having said all that… I really really don’t recommend you get one yet. Give it another 3 months at least, to cook in the oven. You’ll save a bunch of $ in upgrade costs and frustration.

@@KandB_Outdoors - Thanks for responding so quickly. That seems to be the answer world wide with these things. Getting similar responses about the German brands. The difference in cost between a e-trike and this e-trike with a cover is huge. I can get a high-spec e-trike without the shell for under $2k. Do I really want to pay $5000 more for an additional fiberglass and acrylic cover?
@KandB_Outdoors4 ай бұрын
Don’t know where you live in the world, but here in Canada (and North America really) our options for a full suspension e-trike is pretty limited. I suppose it would also depend on how and how long you’d plan to keep it. I plan to ride this year-round and keep it for many years so I’m happy to pay for the better quality construction.

I have been thinking about purchasing a Veemo for a while. Your review gave me more to consider. The seat is not very appealing. Thank you.

Hi, I'm an engineer at Envo. Just wanted to let you know that we have redesigned the seat and are now producing a much more solid and comfortable seat. This will be available for early adopter customers in a few months as well.

@@Sam_Envo Thank you for responding. What is the delivery date for new orders?
@Sam_Envo7 күн бұрын
@@rekcaeddie12 sorry for the delayed reply.. I'm not able to check my youtube comment replies very often. We are sending out our next batch of deliveries around mid february. Typically you'll need to order your Veemo about 4 months ahead of when you'd like to receive it (depending on where we are in production at a given time). We're slowly ramping up production so this lead time will become shorter as time goes on.

What if u change the tires? Would it make for multi use off and on pavement to gravel
@KandB_Outdoors3 ай бұрын
@@ThePlanet_L.I. Yes I think knobbier tires would make it more suitable for easy gravel paths, however think would still be rattly and the plastic top would shake a bit.

I reserved one in 2021. Too bad they went bankrupt. It looks quite different from the 2021 prototype.
@KandB_OutdoorsАй бұрын
Ya it really was too bad! I can’t quite remember what it looked like in 2021 so I can only assume that you’re referring to the full body prototype. I can understand the appeal, but I myself am more partial to the 2023 semi-enclosed version. Man that would have been so nice, proper semi-recombinant seat, nicer cockpit, turn signals, longer range, better suspension, but the really bright spot would have been the drivetrain. An Enveolo motor with a gearbox and a belt drive 😍 Hills would have been no problem at all 🤌 To Envo’s credit though, they did manage to manufacture a commercially viable product, and they are slowly sending out upgraded parts to improve performance. Maybe one day it’ll be somewhat comparable to the original vision?

@@dice268926 Go buy a used car for the same price, keep track of how much the maintenance, repairs, insurance, deductibles, and gas costs over the next year, and then get back to me on what’s “too expensive for a crud of a product”. The final version of the Veemo SE might not be quite as good a value as Velo Metro’s was 2 years ago, but it’s still fairly decent.
