The chassis codes correspond with my previous experiences of owning Golfs. I remember my MK6 GTI and R being labeled "VW 360" on their licensing documents, whereas my MK7 R models were marked with "VW 370." It seems that "3" likely denotes the Golf series, and "2" might indicate a Polo, with the numbers that follow, such as "70," specifying the version/mark. I'm unsure if my 7.5R was identified as "VW 375" or "VW 371." Perhaps someone who owns one can provide confirmation.

the way you closed that trunk hurt me lol i bought a 2024 golf R 2 weeks ago. since the golfs dont come with power trunks that slow impact or open on their own the thing shutting it is the weight of the trunk. Hands underneath the trunk lower it then when you got about 8 inches left between it closing just pull out ur hand and it closes nicely.
