Hello there ! Just a little comment from Bordeaux, France. The volo FH500Hp is that the european model we drive in the old continent is one of the best machine i ever ride. I apreciate particulary the high level of good sensations, the feeling of be safe during the hours passed behind the weel. Is a good and strong truck. On the european network we seen Scania trucks S500 (the brand new model), is the most used in France and European countries, but just just after is the Volvo FH 12 500 the first selected. Have fun !

Talk torque specs, grade pulling, per mile operating costs and so on. Volvo in America is regarded as second from the bottom above International and just behind The FL Cascadia. Definitely love my VNL760, the turning radius far outperforms my brothers International LT, and is way more comfortable. Would love to persuade my fleet manager into upgrading me to one of these instead of the LT.

Yea, it's a nice ride - but who's going to fix it? Locally by me there's only ONE shop to fix vehicles. For a simple fuel filter housing and alternator its been there for WEEKS. No support means no purchase.

One of the most unreliable trucks on the market, has been that way for years. I could care less about the comfort, its all about being on time with deliveries and getting home without paying a visit to a dealer!

I've driven 3 different volvos. My first company truck, 2017 Volvo. Not one single issue. Second Volvo, a 2021 VNL, drove it for a year before leaving for a different company. Not a single problem with it. Nothing went wrong besides a driver side window fuse, Easy as hell fix, no need for a dealer. and Currently, in a 2022 Volvo, Again, No issues with that one either. That's my experience with them. For me, they have been quite reliable. I'm not trying to start an argument or anything here, just sharing a different experience is all. Sorry the ones you drove didn't work out so great.
