5:10 With the automatic up-shift, do you mean when in adaptive cruise control? Could you tell me what the purpose of those paddles is? Can you opt to use them instead of the manual gear?

So when you shift the gear lever to M (manual) you can use them to upshift and downshift, however the car will automatically upshift when you accelerating, thus defeating the purpose of M (manual) mode

When you spec Polo R-line it jumps the price of the GTI or more less the same which is bad for the target market, another thing price is the problem here. . . Imagine paying more than 10k for polo without insurance

Yea , same 1,0 l 85kw engine . R LINE is just a body kit nje and nicer seat. Look wise the r line is better but nothing major in terms of performance . R line gets the beats sound system and ofcourse its not standard 😅 you now Vw.

Great car to be purchased second end with less than 3 years. You can pay 30% less than the new, and it will keep a decent price if sold at 100k km.

Let me tell you why paddle shifters are needed on an auto or dsg. When you going downhill and you brake to keep to the speed limit the car starts changing down because it thinks you coming to a stop so before you know it you in 3rd gear which is not ideal going downhill. On the dsg you flick the paddles till its in 7th gear then you can hold the speed going downhill without the car changing down

Crap brand and car. We bought new Polo in 2019 oil burns, common overheating, the service is once a year but they change nothing, just rip you off. Few things like window power stop working etc etc. i don't recommend it! Everything that could break it break in 5 Years
