Hi Jon, thank you for your weekly insights on the idp world, always on point and fun to watch. Have some difficult decisions this week, it's gonna be a lot to read: My league features 1 LB, 2 DB, 2 DL and 2 Flex: 1pt per tackle (1 pt bonus every 5th tackle), 3 per sack, 4 per interception, 2 per PD. My LBs: Kenneth Murray and Daiyan Henley seem locked in to me, but I also have Josey Jewell, ADG, Tyrice Knight and with Bobby O out I picked up Micah McFadden. My DBs: Started Julian Love the entire season and will do so this week. My options for the other spots: Jabrill Peppers, Grant Delpit, Dane Belton, Ar'darius Washington, Jalen Thompson, Jordan Poyer, Harrison Smith. Last but not least, the DL position. 2 spots available there: Van Ginkel is locked in, second spot options: Nik Bonitto, Zach Allen, Chris Jones, Z'darius Smith, Tavius Robinson, Joseph Ossai, DJ Wonnum and Vita Vea. Hope, it's not too overwhelming and understandable lol Keep up the good work and thanks in advance!

At LB I’d go TJE and Sherwood. DL is REALLY close. I love both matchups…I have Hendrickson ahead but if you feel better about Greenard I’d be fine with that as well. Good luck!

You’ve got a solid group there. I wouldn’t make any changes. TJE is the one LB I’d think about getting in but they’re all super close that I’m fine with it as is. I’d leave Zach Allen in, same with the DBs. Good luck!

Great video as always. Lots of options this week. I feel like a kid in a candy store. At DL it's between Bonitto and Buckner, or I can pick up Sieler and plug him in this week. I typically play matchups when guys are relatively close, so I lean Sieler, but Buckner is just such a stud with a great floor. Maybe this is the week Bonitto comes back down to Earth... Edit: Someone just dropped Hendrickson, so that might settle things. My only issue is maybe the Titans only throw the ball 15-20 times. At LB it's between Dean and Henley. Again, matchup tells me Dean. I think they're close enough it's not going to matter much. DB is a cluster fuck. Dugger/Moehrig/Delpit/Nixon/Lake/Metellus. I don't know, man... You tell me. I hate playing guys on Thursday, but maybe Lake outperforms here.

Wow, yeah you have some nice options! I would go with Hendrickson if he’s available. Titans might have to pass more to keep up with the Bengals and that is the best prsh matchup of the week. With you on LB, you’re good there either way. Your DBs are also all solid. I have Dugger highest and one spot ahead of Lake this week but those guys are all super close. Good luck!!

Thanks! Yeah, it might depend on scoring and whether you’re willing to shoot for upside with Garrett’s sacks. If that’s the case then I’d go Garrett and look for a better floor play in that other spot so Henley makes sense. Luvu is the other option where he has a lower floor, though in a good tackle matchup, and has some upside as a blitzer going against Jake Haener and the Saints so he could be the safer floor/some upside play next to Henley if you don’t trust Garrett…though, I tend to believe in Garrett. Hope that makes sense. Good luck!

I’d be fine going to Robinson for a little safer production. If you’re aiming for higher upside then would take a swing on Diaby since Herbert’s had a tendency to let pressures turn into sacks this year, just tougher blockers ahead of him like you said. Good luck!

Tackle Heavy Start 4: Foye, Henley, Sherwood seem locked in -- but the 4th LB i'm between AkeemDG, EJ Speed and Spillane - I might be inclined by a better matchup with ADG, but it's hard to sit Spillane or Speed even with not so good matchups. Thoughts?

@PFFFantasyPodcast Thanks! And in DL: Even with limited snaps for Christian Ellis having dual eligibility as DL seems like a great matchup vs Arizona. I'm very tempted starting him over Brian Burns bcs of the matchup vs Ravens not being so great,, but his alignment make we kind of want to start Burns. I'm here debating myself if it's dumb to start Ellis. Sacks are only 4pts, Tackles are 2pts in my league.

I get it for sure. I think it's just one of those "start your studs" situations so even though we like to play the matchups, Elliss is on the other end of the spectrum in talent and playing around 60% of snaps is too risky for me. If you have a good gut feel. on it though I won't talk you out of it. Good luck!

To’oTo’o and Walker for me. McFadden should be solid and play 100% of snaps with Okereke out. Banks could be ok for CB-required leagues but didn’t play last week and not the best matchup vs Baltimore. Good luck!

Belton who replaced Nubin in the game (1 solo 4 assist). Should I hold on to Belton in my 10 teamer or pick up one of the option from ww for week 16 and 17 --> K.Merriweather/Edward/Tykee Smith, Chinn(inconsistent), C. Conner(limited snaps), Blackmon or Pitre (in-consistent)

What’s up with Wonnum? He’s looked dominant eye test wise since coming back. He has a good tackle floor as well. I saw a cut up of his pressures these past games and he looked good. Why the fade still after 3 weeks?

Sorry, don’t mean to fade him. He’s always just been a volume-dependant option so I’m fine starting him. I just tend not to spend too much time on those guys because there are a lot of them but fine to talk about him next week. Right not he owns a 63.3 prsh grade which is average, also high missed tackle rate (19.0%), but plays enough and good matchup so fine starting him if you have been. He just comes with some risk as an average/below-average player is all. Hope that helps!

I’m probably sticking with Delpit for sure, then Reid and Amadi is closer. I think since you’re going for upside with Wonnum, I’d prefer the safety of Reid over Amadi since I suspect Amadi won’t play a full workload this week but we’ll see.

Bobby O has been ruled out. If Harris doesn’t play for the Texans (although seems like he will) who would you flex between Diabete, Hewitt, Muasau or Ossai? Other starting LBs are Spillane, Hendricks, Baun, Speed and starting DL is Van Ginkel, Van Noy, Burns and Wonnum

Hi John, Big thanks for the best content for IDP every single week! Anyway, I have a tough matchup this week in the 1st Rd of playoffs so I need some help with these hard decisions: As for the LBS, I have Kyzir White and Davis Gaither in. The other 2 I need are dependent on injuries. I have Mcduffie, Hewitt, Muasau, and Gifford on the bench. How would you rank those 4 if they get the opportunity to start? I also lost Nubin for the year. He was the focal point of my team so this is a huge loss and need a replacement. We start 3 DBS so which 2 would be in you lineup? Derwin is already in. Currently have Curl, Dane Belton, Will Harris, Jonathan Owens, and Worley. Lastly, Coby Bryant, Worley and Will Harris are safeties that have CB designations in yahoo so I need to start 2 in that position. I could also plug in Cooper DeJean as well at CB. Which 2 would be in your starting lineup? Thanks again John!

Hewitt (assuming no Christian Harris), Gifford (assuming either no Baker or Murray), Muasau (no Okereke), McDuffie (because I think Edgerrin Cooper is going to play). You literally have the exact same DB group as me in my main league lmao. The only difference is I also have Ar'Darius Washington but all of those exact guys as options lol. I think if Harris is going to play I’d move away from Hewitt and just go Russell. I gave the edge to Hobbs this week based on matchup. Good luck!

Chaisson has probably played the best but imagine it’s more of a rotation to fill the void. Cousins has been very good at avoiding sacks so it makes me hesitant on that group but Chaisson would be my choice if I had to pivot. Good luck!

Having a hard time deciding if I wanna start Talanoa Hufanga with my last IDP flex spot. Playing the rams should be a great matchup but he also played 51% deep last week on his first week back. Should I be worried? I’m also second guessing starting Kobie Turner too. Harold Landry sadly doesn’t have the best matchup either my DL makes me most concerned tbh. Looking at WW for anyone playing bears or patriots or giants maybe Denver or titans or cowboys lol stress time :D My other options are Arden Key, Payton Wilson (risky I feel), Neville Hewitt. EDIT: dropped key for collier. But still unsure

Hmm...I think based on those other options I'd be fine with Hufanga. The 49ers do play a lot of two-high safety looks but the Rams can pass the ball to keep Hufanga busy enough. I have Landry over Turner, FWIW. Neville Hewitt could be a solid option as long as Christian Harris is out so we don't have to worry about split snaps. Hope it works out. Good luck!

Greenlaw only played 47% of the snaps 3 solo 5 assist until he left the game for precautionary reasons. At the time he left, he was leading tackler on the 49ers. I think had he played the entire game he would hve been the leading tackler. Do you trust him going forward enough to start him in week 16 & 17 over players like Hanley and Oluokun?

That was REALLY impressive by him. Clearly amped up and determined to make an impact. I think he'll continue to play to finish the season but wouldn't be surprised if it's a slow ramp-up so he doesn't suffer a setback heading into free agency. I would likely still trust Henley and Foye for now

Fifth spot is between McFadden, Kenneth Murray and Davis-Gaither (lost Singleton and Logan Wilson this season :( ). Definitely benching Payton Wilson and Trevin Wallace (dynasty stashes). If Bobby O is out and Kenneth Murray is fit. I'm tempted to start both McFadden and Murray (match-up based) but not sure who to bench?

I'd go with Dugger at DB. Hmm...it's not crazy. I'd probably be fine with it if it was tackle-heavy scoring, though I do prefer LB there and ADG and Edmunds both would be my first choices over Peppers. In big-play I'd go Hunter.

I'd go with the Commanders duo this week. Decent chance they run the ball a lot which is great for Wagner, and when they do pass, I like the pass-rush matchup enough that Luvu should be able to (hopefully) get a sack to help his numbers. Good luck!
