Excuses for Oregon's 1st game. But, performance reality check for other teams. Double standards.

Right now the top 20 teams are super interesting because nobody looks to be too overrated. It's a matter of patience and waiting for the season to play out to see where everybody rises or falls. I think A&M will figure out their situation and turn things around after their loss, and I also think Clemson will compete for the ACC championship against Miami. People act like Clemson didn't play Georgia 4 quarters before the game slipped out of reach. The competition from this point forward for Clemson is minimal with their hardest games being at FSU (who has absolutely crapped the bed), and at Virginia Tech who also lost to Vanderbilt. Texas A&M has a lot of happy home games and weak road games. A&M has the ability to learn from this loss and bounce back to go 5-1. Considering they get Missouri at Kyle Field and they have a super lockdown defense, if A&M can figure out a QB they control the rest of the season with their hardest game being the last game of the year against Texas.

I would switch Notre dame and Oregon because Notre dame got a top 25 win against Texas A&M, but it’s splitting hairs. After that I like it. Maybe Georgia tech should be outside looking in for top 25. I know that Utah did lose starting CB Kenan Johnson for the season due to injury, and they also had 2nd string DT Aliki Vimahi injured last game. It isn’t season ending for Aliki but might some time.

Probably because Georgia Tech barely beat FSU while Boston College destroyed them, not taking into account that FSU basically gave up vs BC.

Any chance the Razorbacks do anything special this year with Petrino back as OC? Need to keep him off the motorcycle, but other than that, remembering his run as head coach gives me a little hope for Arkansas football.

They will definitely be much improved in that side of the ball, no doubt about that. I think they might win a game or two that they aren’t supposed to but the Hogs just need to hope for a bowl game. Reaching a bowl would be considered a big success this season.

Appreciate leaving Clemson in. I actually think O line wasn't bad and there weren't any bone headed turnovers. I think they'll go as far as the receivers can take them, but definitely nervous with App State coming to town.

I would for sure agree with that. The OL and defense did all they could, they’ve just got to figure it out with Klubnik. But this was by far their toughest test of the season. Not many teams can hang with Georgia. It’s out of the way now and everything is still in front of them!

Why isn’t Georgia Tech in your rankings when they’re 2-0 and have a big win against FSU? As a Louisville fan, big disrespect to the Yellow Jackets, especially putting Clemson above them when they looked AWFUL against Georgia

Clemson's OFFENSE looked horrible against Georgia. Their defense played Georgia very strong up until the 4th quarters. Clemson will rock the ACC and most likely compete in the ACC championship against Miami. Georgia Tech should be in the Top 25 I agree, but I would keep Clemson above them. In a matchup between Clemson and Georgia Tech I'm taking Clemson because their defense is legit, and Georgia Tech's defense is nowhere near the level of Georgia's.

Georgia Tech’s defense has played pretty well so far this season. I think they should at least be ranked above Boise State, a team that gave up 45 to Georgia Southern, and Arizona, who gave up nearly 40 to New Mexico.

Their win over FSU lost some value after BC destroyed FSU in Tallahassee. And I’m still not fully sold on the defense and that clearly showed in Saturdays loss to Syracuse. If I had put them in, I’d have taken them right back out.

Why don't you also turn these videos into podcasts. Everything is great. Audio is great, People enjoy listening to your opinion on college football, you could tap into a whole new group of people that prefer listening to college football news on other platforms outside of KZbin. I know several people I've recommended your stuff too, but they would rather listen to your stuff on Spotify or apple music and not have to be on youtube to get your content. Where would you have them? They shouldn’t be above Georgia, Ohio State, Texas, or Notre Dame. Maybe drop Oregon a few and move Bama up. So they would be 5th. It’s one spot in Week 2. Give me a break.

Of course Notre Dame will remain in the top 10 all year, they don't play a decent team until USC. They may lose to Louisville or someone else may upset them but I'd be surprised if more than 3 teams on their schedole are top 25 and more than 1 ends up top 15.

To me beating a 8-4 power conference team with no fcs or or g5(at least the vast majority of g5 teams) losses. Also I’d add, Notre Dame scheduled Miami. Miami got scared and backed out.

@jonnybaze7449 a team that finished 4-4 in their conference, lost a bunch of players in the portal, changed head coaches, and was picked to finish 9th in the conference, before people saw post injury Weigman is not what I would call decent. Louisville might be decent, I didn't watch that game. So maybe they have 1 decent opponent before USC. I'm not sold USC will finish in the top 15.
