The Kavalan is probably much younger than your guess. Taiwan's climate tends to age whisky a lot quicker than Scotland, Ireland, or Japan, so most of Kavalan's offerings are on the young side by single malt standards. I'd be surprised if the age on that is over 7 or 8 years. If it was double digits, they would probably put it on the label.

You are doing great, Jason! The fact that you said was not an American whiskey is a win in your favor. You were spot on proof. And NAS is unmeasurable. Complete blind guesses are incredibly hard so you nailed this IMO.

And not only are NAS ages unmeasurable, but the entire aging scale is different with a warm-climate whisky like that. You'd have to at least nail that it was a tropically aged malt to even get the right order of magnitude on your guess.
