I would have went with a smaller J-lounge where the TV is and used a pedestal table maybe? The TV has to be where the J-lounge is now. The J-lounge will also have a decent view of the TV.

Hi Matt and Wil! That’s a great price for this fifth. I love the kitchen and living Space and bathroom. Not the toilet. My dislikes are the tv position with recliners. The dinette. Toilet could always be swapped out. Thank you Matt and Wil!

I believe escape 5.0 is 21ft and scamp 19 fifth wheel is 19 ft, so not really world's smallest, but I like it. 😅 I wish it was no slide, tho.

Matt this is not the world’s smallest or lightest fifth wheel ever. Winnebago made a Micro Minnie fifth wheel from 2019 thru 2020. GVW is 7000 to 7700 lbs and base weight is 5100 to 5700 lbs. I own a 2020 2405RG with a GVW of 7700lbs. I pulled it with my 1/2 ton Dodge Eco Diesel.

I wouldn't have a 'rear kitchen' RV. The appliances get beaten to death as it goes down the highway. The area around the fireplace needs a removable ceiling fan (removable so that the slide can travel, available on Amazon, afix to the ceiling w/magnets) to bring the heat down. If not windows that open, a Maxx fan in the kitchen area. Where is the AC, is it ducted? Saw the heater ducts along the floor. I'm perfectly happy with my Montana 5th wheel. Especially with the east/west orientation of the bed. Can't do that with FR 5er without a slide.

Needs slam latches. Crappy window shades. I would rather see a drawer under the oven. Lose the wine rack and install a convection microwave. Plastic toilet? Really? Not great external storage! Over the top internal storage. The floor plan is very livable. This is an ideal fifth wheel for a 3/4 ton gasser! You can have the tow ability of a fifth wheel without the expensive maintenance of a diesel!

Flowometry, that's an awesome word. You need to trademark that. I have to say that if you are getting a 5er for state and national parks, the TV is not high on the priority list. It certainly doesn't fit into the "3 things we don't like" category.

Just say NO to plastic toilets! The RV has a few odd things about it (looking at the TV and the wine rack), but it's a nice RV for the price. RockStaff get rid of the stupid and cheap chinese tires. This would be a great one for a couple or a single person. Great review Matt and Will.

Why is Wil slamming the drawers shut? They are obviously soft close, and require only the slightest nudge for them to operate. If you slam shut the soft close drawers, this will cause the mechanism to jam, will break the slides and will necessitate the purchase of new replacement parts. Did no one explain to this novice trainee how the soft close drawers work?

So glad to see the fireplace which, to me, is a necessity. The dinette situation can be rectified by the use of a RockStaff moveable table. The mattress looks like a POS, anyway; so if it is a king, one can substitute a brand new queen. This might create enough space for a night stand if there are any outlets available. It would have been nice to see RockStaff put a closet slide into the bedroom. This would have been first cabin, and created alot of space.

If I’m not mistaken, you showed us a small 5th wheel at the recent RV show which was larger and much nicer than this unit which was close to the same price. I believe there are other lightweight smaller 5th wheels that are nicer and within this same price point. I don’t like the tires, the exterior storage, the dinette set up, the tv viewing angle or the small microwave that might hold one burrito. It looks like there’s room for 30 gal propane tanks you can upgrade, along with a better pin box and suspension stabilizer. Not sure if this higher price on this unit is because it’s a River Forest product or what, but $65k seems high to me.

I love all the widows, that is what is lacking in most RV's. I can't understand why would they have 2 large windows that don't open??? That would make the need to run the a/c on days when you could just open the windows and get a cross breeze! Biggest dislike ever.

This unit has some bad looks and looks cheap! 7.57 the dinette ,When showing the kitchen ,We see that they used a round silver screw on the backing support for the dinette!! To lazy to counter sink the screws and use plugs! Thats says it all about this unit's makers!

False advertisement,because scamp has a 19’ fifth wheel that has been out forever. It can be pulled by a midsize pickup.You should do your homework and some research before making false claims
