To all English learners out there: remember that the majority of native speakers can’t speak fluently about everything. It’s a skill that needs to be practiced, just like everything else. Edit: just to elaborate, your fluency is going to depend directly on your understanding of the topic. Understanding is a relatively long process, it involves listening, processing, critiquing, and internalizing the content. For example, a native speaker who doesn’t have a clue about psychology can watch a 30 minute lecture Jordan Peterson lecture about the ego, and yet not be able to articulate in proper sentences what they’ve learnt. It would take weeks of watching similarly themed content and reflecting upon it regularly, that a native speaker would be able to begin talking about psychology semi-coherently on an amateur level. Even then practice with a partner might be necessary, to find a speaking style that works for you (writing a book helps a lot). This is because for every new field or sphere you come across, it’s gonna have its own set of jargon that you’ve never heard of before, and words that you’ve heard before but used in a completely novel way. Before that becomes internalized, there’s no way a native speaker would be able to output about the same topic with any sort of clarity or structure. If they try to do that, it comes across really obvious that they don’t know what the hell they’re saying, and are just smoking their way through. In essence, understanding is the basis of fluency, and if you don’t understand what other people are saying with regard to a subject matter, chances are you won’t understand what you’re saying yourself. Fluent output on specialized topics is something that comes way later in your language learning journey, maybe even up to 5 years later, and if you’re only a beginner about 6 months in, quite frankly it’s gonna be a huge waste of time. Prioritize input above output, understanding others over trying to get others to understand you. Once you can watch the average English KZbin video without the help of subtitles, and are confidence that you’ve understood 99% of ideas expressed, then you can start concerning yourself with the skills that native speakers would learn in school, like explaining yourself fluently during a presentation, or writing an essay.

I am native hindi speaker, and can say that tis is proven technique. I have personaly used following technique. 1. Learn the words and imagine a scenario of ur own day to day work , where would u have been used if u had to? 2. Learn the words in prases , never memories a single words keep in prases and sentences. It will stick in ur mind. 3. Open ur mouth, dosnt matter of grammer is ok or not, just speak it. Gradually u yourself will correct ur mistakes. And u will have confident. 4. Note down the new words in notepad, describe it a little with examples and context. Remember u dont need to learn all the vocabs just few words that help in speaking.. As the instrctture is speaking very normal words, we all understand, bit if i ask u to speak same things probably most of us will not be able to speak. So note down words, and keep reviewing tje notes once a while.

taught children in thailand for over 20 years - the key to vocabulary is learn vocabulary about topics you like - as a child in england i remember being in physics class being bored and as a result i can't remember much of physics vocab and i won't ever use it in life - alternative - i had a 12 year old thai boy who loved football and we listed vocab heard on a youtube video of a premier league match in english - copied the transcript and then started to learn the verb said and then constructed simple sentences - this kid was able to communicate using football words very quickly - great for talking to english native male teachers who often know a bit about football -

Too much emphasis on learning grammar - native speakers constantly make grammar errors so don't focus on knowing what a definitive article is - your governmnet may well focus on testing in grammar which are used as entrance to university but this doesn't help fluency - in my country the most fluent thais are often those who entertain english speakers in the tourist resorts and their education of english is so poor that they can't even read english but chatting great using a small quantity of verb and adjectives

It’s just amazing how you explain all that stuff. I am a so called near native speaker. My father was American and my pretty Mum German. I got to know my Dad late, but early enough to get all that what you are talking about in reality and I am so grateful for having been raised in both languages - English, American English as well as German. I picked up the word “harsh” for example very early. For example when he was playing with our German shepherd and she - named Heidi - became more and more rough and he said “Heidi! Not that harsh! When he said this, I got it. In one second only I got this new vocabulary. I am not really an English teacher, but I am a teacher for other subjects. But - during all the years I was working as a teacher, I got asked so many times to help out in teaching English because they knew that I am better in teaching English then most of the German English teachers they were having. And I’ve always tried and did it in the same way you’re doing it in your videos. And I hope I’m not limbing out too far in writing this to you. Best regards Andy

No sooner had i seen this video than it grabbed my attention. Approximately 2 years ago, i didn't know anything about English. After entering a university, i opted to learn English. So as to learn English, i have read so many articles and books from Cambridge and Oxford. I can easily say that it is really helpful to read the same article about 10-15 times. On top of that, by learning English, it is important for people to choose a book based on their level. What i mean is that if your level is B1, you should read the books in B1 English. After that, you ought to read the books in B2.

Then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?’ 1 Timothy 5:6 6 But she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth. 1 Corinthians 6:9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the Kingdom of God? Be not deceived: Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor the effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10 nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners shall inherit the Kingdom of God. 1 John 2:17 21st Century King James Version 17 And the world passeth away and the lust thereof, but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. John 8:51 Verily, verily I say unto you, if a man keep My saying, he shall never see death.” John 17:3 And this is life eternal: that they might know Thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom Thou hast sent. 1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, Acts 4 12 Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved.” James 1 21 Therefore lay apart all filthiness and the superfluity of wickedness, and receive with meekness the engrafted Word, which is able to save your souls. John 11 25 Jesus said unto her, “I am the resurrection and the Life. He that believeth in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live; 26 and whosoever liveth and believeth in Me shall never die. Believest thou this?” John 6 68 Then Simon Peter answered Him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? Thou hast the words of eternal life, Psalm 119 30 I have chosen the way of truth; Thy judgments have I laid before me. Just after 5 minutes, I learned more about the concept of speaking English fluently. As a beginner, I get frustrated by not being able to formulate complicated and detailed sentances that are nuanced and diverse that will be recieved by someone else naterally with out any unintentional grammatical weirdness. I have to remind myself that it will take time to improve my English speaking skills. I've gotten to the point that I am able to improve. I can select any random thing or object and try to describe all the ways that thing can be used. It is a good exercise for aquiring better fluency in the English language. - I fixed your comment. 😅

Interesting material. A very good video example for the subject/problem/experiment. So...to put it in much fewer words... Firstly: You have to speak the language and gain an adequate set of terms, words and phrases. Secondly: Every topic needs an adequate education (unless you just want to take part in a small talk). Thirdly: You have to feel comfortable speaking to others or speaking publicly in general. That can be practiced though, provided that you actually satisfy the first two premises. Everything outside of this concept (framework) will put you in more trouble than if you keep quiet... especially with people who do not like you or love you in the first place.

The core of theory is learning by scenario. I have no idea how efficient for his kids. Coz his child already proficient for the Englihs intonation and tunes. For the foreigner, fluency not only by vocabulary growing, is more related with familiarity. Partially agreed people have to learn it vertically rather horizontally.

For people learning English as a second language, the hard thing is to get comprehensive inputs by yourself, especially when you are at the beginning level. Here comes the role of an English teacher, he is supposed to give us the kind of inputs that suits our level and help us improve. And a good teacher should know the teaching content "extremely" well. However, this kind of good teacher is beyond reach normally. This really slows the learning progress. What we can do is to learn more proactively and help ourselves, to expose ourselves to English as much as possible, and to build that "understanding" step by step.

John 3:18 “He that believeth in Him is not condemned; but He that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” 1 Corinthians 6:18 Flee fornication. Every other sin which a man doeth is outside the body, but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. Matthew 12:45 Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.” Romans 8:6 6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace, Luke 12:20 20 But God said unto him, ‘Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee. John 8:51 21st Century King James Version 51 Verily, verily I say unto you, if a man keep My saying, he shall never see death.” 2 John 9 21st Century King James Version 9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ hath both the Father and the Son. Titus 1:14 21st Century King James Version 14 not giving heed to Jewish fables and commandments of men who turn from the truth. 2 Peter 3:18 18 But grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be glory both now and for ever. Amen. Romans 12:2 2 And be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Hebrews 9:24 21st Century King James Version 24 For Christ has not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true, but into Heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us. Colossians 2:10 10 And ye are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power, Deuteronomy 6:14 Ye shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the people who are round about you 2 Corinthians 11:14 14 And no marvel, for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Jeremiah 7:18 The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke Me to anger. 1 Corinthians 10:20 But I say that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils and not to God; and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils. 1 Timothy 2 5 For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, Deuteronomy 8:19 And it shall be, if thou at all forget the Lord thy God and walk after other gods, and serve them and worship them, I testify against you this day that ye shall surely perish. Deuteronomy 18:10 There shall not be found among you any one who maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or who useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, 11 or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. Proverbs 7:27 27 Her house is the way to hell, leading down to the chambers of death. 1 John 5:20 And we know that the Son of God is come and hath given us an understanding, that we may know Him that is true; and we are in Him that is true, even in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and Eternal Life. Acts 17 29 “For inasmuch, then, as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold or silver or stone, graven by art and of man’s devising. Proverbs 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. 1 John 4 3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh, is not of God; and such is the spirit of Antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come, and even now already it is in the world. 2 John 1:9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ hath both the Father and the Son. John 8 12 Then spoke Jesus again unto them, saying, “I am the Light of the world.
