One of the more well rounded exhausts for this bike. Deep rich tone that isnt deafening but plenty loud. Not oversized, nice color, and easy to install 🔥

These should pertain 1:1 with the updated 2025 XSR900 model, I would presume?

No. My data on the 21-23 Mt09 will cross over. The Xsr still has the old airbox www.vcyclenut.com/2021---24-mt09--tracer-gt2022-xsr900.html

@@Jacob99174 Yeah I'm usually not a fan of blacked out everything, but the white and red is just a tad loud for my tastes. The gold and bronze highlights on the black model are tasteful and a bit more... masculine? Z900 has some great updates as well, which is another consideration I have.

@@vcyclenut Thanks for the reply. I presume they didn't go with the 2024 MT airbox updates due to the XSR tank/styling differences in architecture. Fair enough. I do like the updated switchgear, TFT, QS and such.

Question….lets say i get new exhaust and flash ecu for that exhaust, but keep the stock filter…..but then later i will get DNA stage 2 filter…..do i have to flash ecu again ?

I would recommend updating the ecu for the new filter when you had some down time. The reflash would be free , it would just cost return shipping if the flash is from me

@@vcyclenut also dont u think that because of the more mileage on a byke, you are getting higher performance with upcoming exhausts ? Lets say if u would test SC-project now u would have better performance ? Maybe ?

Depends on the road. The tighter more nasty the road the better the 698 is. If I had to only pick one it would be the Mt09

@vcyclenut thanks, I'm trying to narrow down the bikes I want to look at next season, but I'm not sure I like the way the mt09 sounds. I prefer the cp2 and cp4 sound much more.

@ I still Own a 10 and owned a 7 for years. They are very different bikes I like the sound of them all but the 10 is just so raw And angry sounding. When I get the r9 I will have to decide between the Mt09 or Mt10 to keep It will probably be the 10 even though it's border line too much bike for around where I live And the 9 is such a sweet spot bike

@@vcyclenut that's what everyone seems to think about the 9. I rode an mt07 and liked it a lot, just not so much the huffy bike front end and lack of quick shifter. If I could get the 9 to sound less sport bike and more mean sounding I'd get one, but I'm kinda leaning towards a gsx8s.

Here in the UK they say our mt09s are 117bhp straight out the box🤷🏼‍♂️not put mine on a dyno so don’t know how true this is.

Manufactures report hp At the crank. I'm Measuring at the wheel which reads about 10% lower than the crank.

how is the afr without flash ? is it harmful for the engine to ride like that ?

Lean in the midrange where you ride the most. Rich on top No it won't hurt it. Just wont run optimal
