2024 Yamaha Tracer 9 GT+ Adaptive cruise and collision avoidance test

I'm also 6 foot and 3" toll and changed my last FJR1300AE against Tracer 9GT+ yesterday :) Yes, my age (58) is a real and the weight of the bike become important.... 294 vs 223kg is a big difference. The technology package on the Tracer is very good (as Ducati Multistrada or BMW GS) but the price is a significant lower. Nice bike. I ordered the MRA Vario-Touringscreen already and will check the wind and rain protection. The triple cylinder engine is awesome anyway. Nice video. Well done. I have been riding for 38 years. I just recently got my first bike with ABS. To me, all of this tech would be pretty wild. This seems like such a great bike.

Such a dope test at 5:30 !! You didnt apply any brakes ?? It went from 80kmh to 10kmh or to a stop by itself?! ACC is insane!!

It's the weirdest feelin' if had on a bike in almost 40+ years of riding. But, it works allright.

Great video. I went with the M09 SP, and I love love love it. However on the occasional road trip, I sometimes wonder if I should have gone with the Tracer.

Nothing wrong with a good Yamaha!!!! This will be my next bike. Wanted a Harley. But this is $10-15K less with all the tech (w/adaptive cruise). With the less hassle of stealerships trying to steal more of your money. $16K in US with deals going on for $13K

Thanks! There is a new screen this year as I saw at the bike show last weekend. I was told it had a visual something but that pretty all i got for info. the model I rode did not or I did not notice it....(That wouild actually no be good.) That bike though.... it's such a surprise how the whole package works so great and just falls off the radar of buyers... with or wothout the collision avoidance and the enhanced cruise control... I just love this bike.

Both of those small headlights seem to be while your riding. Is that new or do you have the high beams on? In the 2023 model, only 1 would be on unless you turned on the high beams.

Yeah you got me! I left the high beams on during filiming (not good)
