Hi Mariam, thanks for sharing this ranking. I'm still the biggest fan of Pat. Everytime when you make look with a Mothership or the new Luminous legends (love that palette also very much) you get sparkling eyes. In the past I bought some eyeshadow palettes of Dior and L'ancome, the where very pretty...but when I saw you with the MS of Pat, I had to try them...and fell in love with them. I skipped the last one.

I don’t know what you’re wearing on your eyes, but I hope I already own it because it’s gorgeous! I bought way too much makeup this year, and my hope for the new year is to stop chasing the new and enjoy what I have, because I have some stunning makeup already! Chanel Eclat de Nuit is definitely a fave, and also Byredo Mineralscapes.

I cannot agree more with you about the mattes in the Bobbi Brown quads. I really want to love them so much, but I don’t. For me they just lack any sort of pigment. Even the darkest ones look like crease shades on me. I wish they’d all just be non-mattes. The non-mattes are fantastic! You did a great job palette shopping in 2024! I even really like the ones you have ranked at the bottom of your list. My top 3 palettes I purchased this year were: #1: All tied for first because I love them all equally and use them a bunch: Chanel Eclat de Nuit, Rivage, & Coral Treasure (My Chanel Trio of 2024. My Favorite 3 Chanel quads of all time) #2- Givenchy 9.12 (My most used single palette of 2024. It’s the most beautiful baked formula. THESE baked mattes are fantastic!) #3- Surratt Beyond Beige (a revelation. It lived up to the hype) Honorable mention: Dior Coral Flame, YSL 700, Nomad Chicago Speakeasy

I watched your review on the Bobby brown palettes. I purchased star crossed first and nearly skipped milky way but it is my favourite out of the two. A shame they didn’t work out as expected. Everyone who reviewed these seemed to be very happy with them.

Thank you for the great video :). In 2024 I used a lot of one and done eyeshadows but for palettes my most used were - Tom Ford Emerald Dusk, Chanel Rivage, and ND Glam palette. My favourite look for the year was from three one and done eyeshadows combined together - Chantecaille Mermaid Copper all over the lid, Sisley Silky French Blue in outer corner and top in center of the lid and inner corner Chantecaille Luminescent Eye Shade in Cheetah ❤.

Btw I still haven't got a Mothership because I like more nude colors and I am not sure which one will be best for me. Maybe Mothership ll Sublime, but I do not care about the Green in there.

I finally got the PML palette and was pleasantly surprised. I am definitely going back to my quads. I am definitely moving away from indie palettes since they all seem to be made in China. Also, I prefer quads. I still get most of the Natasha palettes and I enjoy them, but also not loving having that many shadows. I pull a quad and use it exclusively because it is the most efficient thing for me to do. Also, I still get a lot of Viseart. I really do love it! I was a bit surprised about the Prada quads. But totally understand.

O.O Star Crossed from Bobbi Brown! But actually, I agree - I love the pink-silver and the mauve-blue in Star Crossed. I even like the champagne-gold type shade somewhat, although I agree it doesn't make sense with the other colours. But that baked matte in Star Crossed is deeply mediocre and at that price point, it really needs to perform better than the AUD $8 indie matte I got from a local brand. I call Bobbi Brown's luxe formula 'office lady Pat McGrath' :)

I like your change to Fawn and Sorcery! That blue in Sorcery is my least favourite of the palette as well - there's nothing wrong with it, I just prefer the green-based shades - and I wished LE included a dark navy matte or a brown instead because I always use Sorcery with the chocolate brown from Vega. And Fawn needs a pop of colour to save it from being Yawn... ;)

I have the same w Dior baked gelee. It's not as good as other brands. Usually baked gelee lasts very well on my eyes and looks beautiful all day long. Dior is too dry so it doesn't sit and last as well
