Thanks for posting this update. I'm also planning thru hike starting March 1, roughly. I'll be starting north of the storm zone, then I'll flip flop back through there in the fall. Hoping to give the clubs time to do more of that fine work like you showed here. Thanks to all of you, for clearing AT for 2025 hikers. I really do appreciate it.

I don’t know the area real well (I live in eastern NC), but I must have been super close to there swamping at and around Mountaineer Falls & shelter last week with TEHCC. Keep up the great work! 💪 February will be here real soon...

Yes! Very close. This is about 7 miles south of Mountaineer Falls. I was in the crew working near Jones Falls. Thank you very much for helping us.
