Design-wise it's good, not impressive but just okay, and while that's subjective to each person's taste, what really kills it for me is the excessive amount of hard plastics and piano black trims, yet, they're expecting us to pay more for it compared to the previous A4/A5 models. As a previous Audi owner, I personally find it insulting. Good luck with the new buyers; no wonder why they're headed towards bankruptcy.

It’s a beautiful car , I had an A6 before. But seriously any EV from China will smoke the A5 , take the Xiaomi SU7 Max at US41k , 670 hp 0-100kmh in 2.78sec. Brembo brakes , Napa leather ventilated, heated massage seats, 15 spkr system , 16 inch center screen, voice command , self parking and exit , mobile connectivity, glass roof , etc etc etc. Now how can you match that ?

Evs are garbage

You can have all those features in A5 too. Why such acceleration is needed? In Europe the distance you can travel without filling up a car every 200 km matters, not acceleration figures - they are descent enough already.

@robertwang7825 this Audi isn’t electric, it’s engine based with technology or. Hybrid system. And Audi EV etron RS 4door along with Porsche Taycan turbo S would smokes any China EV.

@ Yeah at 5x the price of the Chinese lol. That is a stupid comparison to make. We talking about cars that almost everyone can afford at US40-55k , not cars that only the top 1% can afford , who cars abt those cars. A Xiaomi SU7 Ultra can do 0-100 in 1.9 sec. but sells for US115k , you want to beat that ?

@ Yes but the A5 with all the options ( it is standard on the Xiaomi ) will cost way way more lol. The Xiaomi costs US41k. The range is over 450km. I’m saying what money can buy these days. And that matters to consumers and that’s why legacy automakers are losing the Chinese mkt very rapidly and closing dealerships, factories , layoffs etc. The Chinese mkt is the biggest in the world ( 23M cars annually ) and if you lose that mkt. it is game over.
