Walked into a Muji store in Cologne (Germany) for the first time last week and fell in love with the simple, elegant designs and the essential oil smell lol

Deadly combo that will get you to buy BOTH planner and essential oil. 🤣

I love Muji planners so much ! I used the horizontal planner + memo for both planning and memory keeping but for next year, I got 2! One vertical planner for actual planning and time blocking and a horizontal + memo for my journaling and memory keeping. So excited to use them ! Thankfully the stickers they gave for my country are specifically for the holidays we have here so they’re not wasted 😅

@@aryezanajwa Omg I'm so happy to see someone fully using this planner. I didn't know they give out holiday stickers specific to the country. How cool! Thank you for sharing how you plan to use yours! ❤️

Thank you!❤ This might work for me. The only thing is the lack of timeline on the dailies. I do time blocking, so would need a way around this...

@@elainelouve then maybe this may not be the layout for you. They do have planners with vertical weekly time blocks. 😊

Thank you for this detailed flip through. I think I'm in a planner rut and have been using plnners that I've used for the past three years, but don't really work for me! I think I need to break it up and check out MUJI products. I love how they are fairly clean and basic.

You're very much welcome! I hope that the basic layouts will help clear your mind and I hope you find it useful if you do decide to pick one! If I may also advice, perhaps you can reflect on your process to find out why your planners haven't been working for you. Maybe there have been some life changes that don't match your needs. Hope it all works out for you!

Those are pretty interesting layouts. Sadly neither of those layouts are available on the UK muji website. They have weekly spread like the hobonichi weeks (week on one page horizontal and then a blank notes page) and also a vertical layout with the week over two pages.

@@okwrite7120 Sorry to hear that. The layouts you mentioned are the most common in their planners. I didn't know stock would differ in other countries.

I love Muji stationery! Sadly, stores are few and far between where I live. Same with Daiso. ❤️🇨🇦

Do they have an online store in the US where they deliver nationwide?

Did you notice a difference in the paper quality between the two? I’ve been using Muji planners for the past years but iirc all the ones ive bought were made in japan. I just started using fountain pens with the planner and it works perfectly fine but I’ve been seeing warnings about muji planners made outside of Japan to be of different paper quality, and that they don’t work with fountain pens. Is there any truth to that?
@thestationeryjunkie16 күн бұрын
@@crzn07 There MAY be some truth to that. I've seen some Muji planners that are "made in China" (just look at the back of the book). I haven't done a pen test on these 2 planners I reviewed because I'm giving them away. I mentioned there may be some truth to what you said because I experienced it in Daiso notebooks that are made in China (but then Daiso is a Japanese brand). So whenever I buy notebooks there, I make sure to pick up those that specifically indicate are made in Japan.
