They even cheapen on the rubber in the door seal. There isn’t any on the inside of the door just on a door itself

My friend went and took a look at it in person. He was surprised by the interior. It looks very cheap. It doesn’t even feel like a German car.

Give it some time, you’ll come around. They both have their pros and cons when you put them against each other. I’m not a big fan of some of the areas that they decided to cut costs and some of the changes in design. I haven’t been in the new X3 yet, but i’ve been in the G60 5er and while it does suffer from cost cutting, it still felt like a Bmw, although a little lesser of one compared to something like a G30, F10 or E60 in my eyes. As if they are becoming a bit more mainstream/generic and losing some of the Bmw magic that we all know and love.

I had the 2020 x3 30i and traded it in for the 2023 x3 M40i. Where is all the nice stitching? I’m not crazy about the ambient lighting. They didn’t even bother with back. Door handles look cheap. This one needs a refresh already. I don’t think this one is gonna do well. I’ll be skipping this generation

@cstrike555 Sometimes "the past" is the better choice. I had the choice and prefer and got the 24..quickly. All that's good on the 25 is the engine and ride. Exterior is bland, interior is widescreen like all major car companies. NO to giant lighted "U" in the center. More plastics, less quality. No carbon fiber accents. Loss of features. People still want physical buttons, etc. You like it? You buy it. We'll see what the LCI brings.

I am a BMW customer for years , we have several models , just X3 model we have three different models and x 5 three of them too , not to mention series 3 and 5 , always gravitate in this range of models. But this new X3 , I am not interested , they saving a lot of money with the concept with less and minimalist bla bla bla , the interior is super cheap this in unbelievable even the plastic piece to open the door , I can’t stand that , ugly, , not even real carbon fiber material used in the bar located below the curve screen or wood , or aluminum , just a cheap ugly grey plastic , this is to much, and the price of course even higher. Not event light in the rear door panel , not a proper handle or hole to grab the door to close it, who design and approve that. Not to mention the lateral air vent , ugly cheap plastic, I perfectly know the design team members , but let me tell you , this time is to much, cheap plastic sound all over. I hope they don’t destroy the X5 , if they do something like this , and moving to Porsche at once. I love and I like the brand for years , I understand about new tendencies and design , but the use of those cheap materials , this is to much for me. I think they safe a lot of money eliminating a lot so parts and pieces with this new design , but also increase and implement the cheap plastic all over , this is a bad movement. This is sad to see that , I watched the review videos of people that are dedicated to review BMW and when they going inside and describe the interior ; they can’t hide to say why why they do that.

Interior so cheapened compared to the previous model .. Looks plasticy crap.. All aluminium details removed. On an upgrade I will go for X5, where Interior kept to a high standards

I wish you were wrong.,,,,I saw the car in a recent Motor show and unfortunately the material quality is awful…I mean 100K car with cheap plastic dashboard, handles and other…Even Chinese rivals are way better inside in terms of material!

I bought my X3 new and had it serviced on schedule by the dealer. The back differential started leaking at 80,000 miles and the front differential failed at 85,000 miles. Worst car I ever owned.

Don’t speak trash to people.we have every right to complain and we buy brand new cars from the same manufacturer every 3 years and this is what they do

It’s a shame, Bmw is supposed to cut costs by a quarter within the next 5 years. There are better ways to do it imo, but what do i know? It is interesting to watch Hyundai improve through the years while Bmw is seemingly giving you less. I’d gladly pay a little more to get ambient lighting for the rear passengers as well, i’d pay more to extend the leather on the armrest to the end rather than have it stop halfway through and finish in plastic. Oh well

@@PapiAndrey atleast Hyundai’s don’t cost this much . They are trying their damn best to give you better tech by the way all the driver assist stuff is standard and they have nicer materials these days and cost half of this abomination. I really wish their sales tank and dealers get mad at bmw for ruining the best selling model . I don’t know what they were thinking this segment is very competitive with glc , q5 Volvo xc 60 , Lexus and they come out with this crap. I have a funny feeling next ix3 which they will launch in 2026 they will probably give you plastic chairs inside and call it sustainability

BMW, what have you done to X3? this car looks weird.. exterior is pathetic.. where are the bold designs? gonna stick to my 22 X3… looks much better than this.. I feel so sad looking at this.. it’s painful to watch this stupid design..
