Wow Mike, you ain't messin' around - you go right to the top tier Sport 2 Escalade IQ. Cadillac has a renewed commitment to offer premium luxury and customers do seen to go for top trim vehicles. It will be interesting to see the take rate on the Executive 2nd Row Seating Package. Hotel/Airport transport services will be interested, but customers may decide to go full "Boss Hogg" on their Escalade, otherwise why go Cadillac at all? Thank You for the comprehensive overview you provide on all new vehicles.

460 mile range?

More like 340 to be comfortable. I drove from Atlanta to Houston, and had to stop twice for charging

@@johnh8705what speed were you going? I got 345 in 17F temps with 5 passengers going 75mph and over one mountain pass. My model X in the same conditions would do 200 miles or slightly less. Unless you’re talking about range between 20%-80% battery. A guy in Florida just drove 363 miles home after picking up his new iQ, and he still had 25% battery left with 104 miles showing.

Saying Cadillac has always fallen behind in technology tells me you haven’t done your homework. If you’re reviewing cars, you should know better."

You really think their infotainment systems and gauge clusters were on par with Audi, Mercedes, and BMW? Really?
@paulferguson95324 сағат бұрын
The way in which you stated your original comment wasn’t limited to infotainment and gauge cluster technology. That said, Cadillac has led in that space too-first to offer Night Vision, the first true hands-free driving system, and the first curved OLED infotainment display. ‘Fallen behind?’ That’s a gross mischaracterization. Do your homework.

Actually I was talking about the digital gauge cluster and infotainment system but you completely took that comment in a completely different direction. Curved screens aren’t a flex in this space, not when GM’s been uncompetitive in the luxury segments aside from the Escalade.

@@BostonAutoBlog You’re scrambling to change your original statement to save face, but it’s not working. I just gave you the facts.

I’ve been pretty consistent on bringing up the infotainment and gauge cluster and haven’t moved from that position. If you think bringing up a 25 year old tech feature with night vision that no uses and a curved screen is state of the art or earth shattering I’m not going to burst your bubble.
