Kevin Hunter the homework Guy called out a east coast company concierge service a scam on KZbin. The only service I thought of was you guys and Tommy's service. I thought you would like to know and perhaps reach out to him or address the claim.

Thanks for all your advice, guys. Using it saved me thousands on a highly sought-after Rav4 hybrid. Caredge kept about $4000 in my pocket despite that the car was a special order, I had put a deposit on in advance. Shopping multiple dealers got the competing, knowing the real value of my trade in, leveraging a ten year 100k mile warranty, were tools that really helped.

Thank you so much for your information and videos! I’ve learned an enormous amount and applied it to a car I purchased today. Using your suggestions saved me 10% off the MSRP, I received 0% APR from the manufacturer’s incentive because I timed my purchase to the last few days of the year, I caught that the finance manager had calculated the sales tax incorrectly because I asked for the breakdown on the otd price which saved me another 2%, and I learned from shopping between dealerships which fees are bs, or too much for the legit fees. All in all, I saved over 5k on a 30k car.

Yesterday I tried and tried for an out the door price. Never got one, as a matter of fact as we where going thru the process a second sales manager came over and said that truck is no longer for sale anymore because the dealership owner had a friend coming in in 10 mins to look at the truck. WTH? Been with that company for 30 years.

Nobody was coming. It was an excuse. They just didn’t want to deal with you because you weren’t an easy mark.
@MrHarryhere69Күн бұрын
@@metaZen No the guy really showed up, I saw him, I saw him take a test ride, I wanted to say something, but do you say?
@stephsjamnКүн бұрын
I wouldn’t deal with them anymore. You were there first. If it was sold why wasn’t it marked, why did the guy take a test drive, was the paperwork completed and approved for the money? Sad situation there!

@@MrHarryhere69that’s absolutely crazy. I would 100% say something and probably involve some hand gestures as well. Then I would name and shame them all over their social media to let others know what kind of business they run and how they treat people.

I’d say, “Hey, great.. MAYBE he’ll buy it then. I’ll just cross you guys off the list of dealerships I’ve been looking at buying from, and head on over to your competitors cause at least I know I’m ready to go home in a new car TODAY.” Bye.. I would leave, regardless if they ran out to beg me to come back. Let em leave a message on your phone that you can’t refuse. It can make a big difference in what you end up paying for. In fact, I’m ready to just skip to the part where I leave a dealership before I even walk in the door.

Hi guys, I love seeing these negotiation strategies. I would like to see negotiations in those cars with less than 20 days supply , for example a toyota. Thank you!

Best time of the year to buy. Even with your great advice, I just can’t summon the energy to buy in late 2024. Maybe late 2025. 🤞

You can do it! I just did it for the first time and you can do it too.
@EndoExcisionКүн бұрын
If you say match or beat you will only ever get match, because you can count on the dealer to add their own markup on the interest rate. That’s the “sell rate.” I’ve already gone through the preapproval process, so if would like me to finance through the dealership, you will need to provide a competitive interest rate. I would never disclose to the dealer what my current interest rate offer is. That’s how I can be sure I’ll get closest to the dealers buy rate.

Can you do a video for cash buyers?
@TC1Z2L32 сағат бұрын
Same strategy applies. Get an OTD price before you tell them you're paying cash. "I need to know how much the car is going to cost before I know how I'm going to pay for it." You'll have to say it a couple times but they'll get the picture. Be willing to walk. If you're within reason, they won't let your ass get 3 inches off that chair before they really start to change their tune. I've done it twice in the last 3 years and it worked like a charm. When you stand up to walk away you can see their panties start to bunch and watch them squirm. Do it when the Sales Manager finally comes over, it's part of the stupid dance they always do. "Give me a call when you're willing to sell it at (your price.)" In todays market you should easily be able to get OTD below MSRP.

Got my 2025 Honda CRV Hybrid Sport-L with $1400 of dealer add-ons for $37,690 with $3000 for my 17 year old trade-in (a 2007 CRV). Thanks for the advice!

They’re wise to us. I haven’t been able to get a straight answer from a couple of dealers for what the OTD price is. Looks like I’m gonna be keeping my 2017 awhile longer. Also not liking the turbo 3 and 4 cylinders everything has gone to.

I got the dealers to give me OTD prices I used to pit them against each other, and that’s how I got my car

No one makes a video about the BIGGEST car buying mistake, and that is going to a dealership to begin with. This becomes obvious after watching a few of the plethora of videos about buying a car from these thieves.

How can you get information on how long a car has been on the floor or lot?
@photonmixerКүн бұрын
The CarEdge website lists days on market for each car. You can also look at other nearby dealers to see how long the same model has been on their lots, and how many similar cars have been sold in the past 45 days.

Hello. Once the dealership ask for your drivers license during the deal, do you offer the license or front/back COPIES of that license?
@peterhess261020 сағат бұрын
You head for the door. There’s no reason they need your license except to keep you prisoner in their shop for hours so they wear you down to the point you’ll sign anything If you really want the car. And no, don’t give them copies. There’s no legitimate reason for them to have your license. If they say they need it for a test drive remind them you’re the one who is driving.

@MC-gj8fgКүн бұрын
Just do your research online. Games are unnecessary. This allows you to avoid wasting everyone's time, including your own, by swinging wildly when you don't actually know what anything is worth. Also, if you're not busto or leveraged up to your eyeballs then by all means focus exclusively on the price, but you're once again wasting your time if a great deal when you're financing or leasing nevertheless fails to create a payment that matches your monthly liquidity needs. Lastly, almost no dealership is going to find a sub 5% lending source in the current market without a subvented rate from the manufacturer, which you would know about and thus save time with that research.

Very well put. If only all potential car buyers read this before driving around aimlessly to dealerships or calling/e-mailing every dealership within 100 miles of them frantically.
