Yes with crappy Cvt transmissions my wife’s friend got a 2019 and went threw 2 transmissions

I checked out a 2024 Malibu RS 1.5T in Radiant Red at the Chicago Auto Show and I liked it a lot. And considered getting one but I really love the Ford F150 and have always wanted a truck.

People aren’t buying AMERICAN sedans, because American companies have stopped making them. Ford stopped, Chevy stopped, except for the Malibu, and I don’t even know if Chrysler even still exists. If they make sedans again, people will buy them. Until then, they’ll buy the Japanese competitors.

If the Malibu hasnt been announced to end production in November this year, it would had been redesigned for the 2026 MY sitting in as the smallest Chevy in the lineup

11-24 production ends I guess GM is saying to it's customers that want a mid-size ice sedan get lost we don't need you.

You only get SiriusXM with the LT1 and LT2 trim levels.

I think this generation of Malibu would have sold better if GM had kept the top-end Premier trim level with its 2.0-liter turbo-four engine, which provides effortless acceleration. The base engine, which since 2023 has been the only one available, is a 1.5L turbo-four which is only adequate, and not nearly as good as the 2.0. It seems to me that GM, which has long since given up on promoting family sedans, has been de-contenting the Malibu in preparation for discontinuing it. But to me, it makes no sense for GM to cede the sedan segment entirely to the Japanese and Korean makes. I'd like to see what a new-generation Malibu would look like, even if it is electric. But I've heard conflicting reports as to whether a new-generation Malibu will even happen.

Looks the same as my 2016 Malibu except the touch screen is updated but still below average.

I don't get it.The LS is $25k A loaded up Trax 2RS is $25k .The Malibu is what it is.Its not gonna be a Toyota Camry.

Great look at one of the final reminders of how pure greed can bring down America's ability to even build a quality sedan for people. Striped of any resemblance of the Chevrolet our grandfather's were proud to park it the driveway. Detroit steel, replace with Chinese tin and plastic. Last call for mediocracy.

This guy has a really weird way of doing car reviews. He has a GoPro. And that's cool. But his delivery is so uneven. He's excited about the car. Then he's not. He complements the car. Then craps on it. It's like he isn't sure if he's recommending the thing or not. I wonder if he knows that this thing is being discontinued.
