While there can certainly be disappointment in not seeing the color desired in a particular configuration, I think you've managed to find the best middle ground. Offering so many sizes and configurations, but only in limited cover colors, is great. At the end of the day (or year), it's what is between the cover that matters the most.

Absolutely! I am very fond of the caramel and forest green, but it’s what’s inside. And you can always put on a cover and decorate it with any color or design!

I also think having all options in all colors can bring us to something called decision paralysis, when there are so many options you can't even function and pick one. I think all colors are gorgeous and now we can focus on the size and inside of the planner, which is hard enough to pick haha

The color choices are also lovely. If someone can’t find an option they like, you’d never be able to please them anyway.

This video was so thorough and organized! Thank you!! We will get over color disappointment in no time. Once we place them in covers, it’s not that big a deal…it’s a planner. I’m excited for a 52gsm full year B6 slim vertical option…I don’t care if it’s neon green! Lol. (I’m sure SterlingInk will take feedback this year and depending on sales make color adjustments for popular sizes next year!) This is a small business offering multiple size options many big planner/ stationary businesses just don’t and will never do this because of inventory/overhead/sales, etc.... it is extremely impressive and must be exhausting work! I’m not going to lie, I am a bit disappointed that the pocket is not available in one of the new colors BUT I am happy it’s available in a full year. I do completely understand why the color combos had to be limited to keep things manageable though. I think that overall the choices are great, and Catherine and her team are doing a fantastic job.

I am new to Sterling Ink and I'm blown away by how thorough your videos, designs and thought processes are. I am a new small business owner, and I understand the challenges of MOQ and wanting to offer it all but limited with budgeting. I love these detailed videos, and I am thinking I'll be getting an A6 Vertical Compact (and possibly also an N1-V Compact). Even if your planner size is not available in the colour option you want, I feel that I will be looking at the inside more than the outside cover. It is in my leather cover. I rarely see the planner cover. I love that you offer so many sizes. Much prefer those options. Can't please everyone.

The a6 vertical js just /perfect/ because it has 6 grid an hour so 10minutes each and my color coding markers just fit so perfectly it's s really nice....a6 split year in mist you'll be missed, you were really the one for me 😢 I guess the split isn't that needed when you repeat the quaterly, but the colors...........tried looking for the b6slim and it's the same?? n2 has 6grids but it's caramel and forest only again?? A nightmare 😭😭😭

If you use double sided tape / a glue runner you shouldn't ruin it, or you can load it with stickers!

You can put a clear cover on it and insert vellum or other printable to make it look any way you want. Then you can change the insert whenever the season, or mood, strikes you.

We can be disappointed. Some of us bought planner covers in certain colors, and the color options that are available just won’t mesh. I have a caramel veg tan, that just won’t be aesthetically pleasing with onyx.

I really would have loved the B5 vertical in Mist gold full year. Caramel wouldnt have been my choice, but its okay. Maybe it will be the option to get a clear cover and take some vellum over. If I would have an idea, I would decide to go with the 4 main colours for the different variations and choose the little planners in the new or fancy colours. So everyone has a consistent colourrange and something to play with. I didnt want to be disappointed, just saw the B5 in Mist and was happy just to recognize it was not the full year. I think, people who choose bigger planners, dont need a compact, because the planner will stay at home or fits in a business bag.

As i really, really love the linen & pink, but know that they dont come in the dated sizes i want now, but still would really love to have one of your notebooks in either of those two colours!! @SterlingInk Thank you so much Catherine! 💕 I think my plan is to to with the size&layouts I want in whichever colour they come in & just put some kind of vellum under a clear cover. But then definitely get one of the fairy floss pink planners no matter what size or layout because it's just too gorgeous to pass up!! 😍😍 maybe if certain colours do really well they will release as notebooks at a later date! I'm very excited for the B6 Slim! I've been using the N2 lately, and I think the B6S Horizontal will be the same but just a bit wider.

In one of your videos, I can't remember if it was this one or another recent one, you mentioned a specific fountain pen ink.... It came it two formulas, one of which was archival. You said you'd post link in video description, but it wasn't included. And when I tried to find the video position again to try and hear what it was, I could not find the spot in the video. I am SO excited for the B5 and definitely leaning in that direction -- but I am having a hell of a time finding clear covers that might fit it. I get why you're not doing covers anymore, but any advice on clear covers you think might work? I am rough with my stuff so it won't last the year if I don't have a cover lol!

I wish the B6 Slim horizontal did not have as many blank pages in the back (I might be alone in this thought) since I don't need that many notes pages in the back when I have a notes page in between each week.

i was hoping this video would help me decide between the A6 vertical compact and B6S vertical compact -- but i am as torn as ever, LOL! I also thought, meh, I don't have a need for the B5 and then I saw it. I am so indecisive no, hah!! I am SO excited for the passport vertical in linen, it is the only thing I don't need help deciding. Small graces, LOL.

I do like the variety, but the one I want the most will need a cover because it only comes in Onyx (B6 slim horizontal full year). I'm just glad I got that option, the pages are the important part. Hopefully there will be plastic covers offered again too.

What’s the difference between the B6S and N2 (Hobo weeks)? I like B6S but never liked the hobo weeks, is there much of a difference?

B6Slim is the width of a TN standard and the height of a B6. So it's a little wider than a Weeks, but a similar height (I think the Weeks is a smidge taller but not an appreciable difference).

Would love a clarification on how the hours are written out in the vertical layouts- you mentioned for the smaller one that it's one line per hour, and it's 6 8 10 etc, but it looks like maybe for the larger sizes each number is written out and perhaps has more lines? I can't quite tell, so would love this to be in next video/here. Also forreal that b5 is CHONKY, he's v impressive

yes each line is 1 hour for the smaller sizes, and the timelines go from 6am to 12am but for the B5 it is a 24 hour timeline since it has more room. For the larger sizes there are two lines per hour.
