I'm so excited with all these AI features. This is just a hobby for me but it's one I really enjoy sharing with others. I just tried the text-to-speach. It works pretty well but I didn't really get what I was looking for. I have two pirates talking. one surprised to see the other, who is now an upset skeleton. but it was fun and at least gave me the ability to get the timing right. I'm getting a friend of mine to record his voice so I get the sound and attitude I'm after then use the voice changer to make it sound like two people. I did use the voice changer for another short video and it worked great. But my Texas accent just isn't what I want for the pirate clip. Keep on coming up with all these cool upgrades and features.

I'm excited to see what's there on the store. Also, please have an Auto-Save option during Multi trims, since I do bigger file Multi Trims, most of the time application breaks/crashes and I have to redo the whole stuff again.

I've lost countless hours using the new AI functions, they aren't up to scratch. My high powered laptop just freezes, and the compatibility between android and windows is awful. The upgrades are requiring me to buy more and more credits for functionality that is dreadful. I've lost so much money buying credits to have it lag and strip my money from my bank account. Not what I signed up for.

Hi ! Lovely presentation of Hana for CyberLink and Mauro and Jonny ( product managers ) to present the new features and innovations that are truly remarkable ! What is beyond me, is that your artistic director ( or whoever made the promo ) placed you in a living room ( except for the beach with palm trees scene as demo of AI "green screen" magic ) rather than in your real working environment or HQ of CyberLink! This to me, if I may be bold, take out the seriousness of your business and also does not increase trust in your brand. Therefore I recommend making these promo's more real pretty please. Sorry I have a "comment"... but still congratulate your for your work for this incredible niche market amongst the "sharks" ! ; ) Kind regards, Mike

Improvement request. Ability to add background color to subtitles. Please allow us to partially change the subtitle position. If you change the subtitle position, all subtitles will be moved to the first changed position. To improve the subtitle position by changing it temporally

​@@PowerDirectorOfficialit's quite straight forward. They want to have a background colour to their subtitles, so it's blocked out from the video footage behind. They also want to be able to position the location of the subtitles in specific parts, not have everything moved all at once for the whole video.

Can you put in a fix for when using a sped up portion so it doesn’t freeze while doing a voice-over? The video track will freeze so that I can’t see what I should be talking about. Thanks.

The situation sounds the hardware decoding speed is not fast enough. You could try to enable "Shadow File" option in the General page in PowerDirector Preferences settings. That could help. Is it possible to trace a line that follows the trajectory of an object? For instance, we have a ball flying on an arching trajectory across the screen. Can we have the ball leave a trail behind, so the viewer can see the whole trajectory?

Hi, You may consider adding a trail image (still image) to follow the ball object in video via the motion tracking feature in PowerDirector. Improvement request: Ability in multicam to import and mix more than one separate soundtrack. On the main screen it can be done but not in multicam. I video live music using separate sound recorded from the mixer for superior sound without audience sound but need to mix in applause from different soundtrack at appropriate time. When using 4 camera multicam I cannot do this.

Only a small number of AI credits is available for free. Any further work with AI will require you to splash some of your hard-earned money on purchasing additional credits.

All this is nice but your not keeping up with the latest video resolutions. We have a nice 8k 360 video edited with some nice AI features but can't output at this resolution!

This is all excellent news but does this all work on Apple macs you say moving forward but you can’t edit 360 footage on Mac and that loads are mission on Apple macs.. from your programs ie plugging.. You have excellent product but it only works on Microsoft what about Apple Macs.. just bring it up to the same as Microsoft.. I love working with power director but failing when I edit 360 video.. Can you assure that Powerdirector will move forward for Apple Macs… Am I the only one with this problem..

Hate the idea of removing people and things from a photo it removes the realistic feel of the picture. You will never get amazing stories like how two married people ended up in the same picture as kids because he was removed from the picture by her family.

Good points! Sometimes, a imperfect photo is more human. But in the other hand, with AI tools, we can have the option to make some photos better. Isn't it? 🙂

I have a love for history, and the first time I saw people remove people from photographs, all I could think of was Stalin removing people from historical pictures. It creeps me out. I didn't want to bring it so I tried to think of a happier scenario. From now on people will never see how history actually was they will see history from the way people want history to look. I love photos of the 20th century alive with people going about their business. Looking back even at my old photos, I like them the way they are. I just hope history is as real for people 50 years from now as it is today. I am not trying to be mean or cruel I just hope we spend some time remembering history as it was unfiltered and original.

Most of AI is paid extra. Having 60Tflops computer I cannot run basic AI effects like changing hairstyle or generate new sky. You cannot even generate 128x128 "stickers" (Sky generator or even 3d terrain generator was possible on Amiga500 2MB ram). Extra pay for basic AI is just a joke. I had subscription for 12 months and found this software completely useless thanks to extra payments.
